Ever sat in her seat, seething. Her arms were crossed and her auburn locks were in a ponytail pulled through the back of her brother's baseball cap. Anyone who looked at the pair could see it: she was not happy. The truth was that she did not want to be there. She not want to look for love or go on dates. In fact, she'd be perfectly happy dying with forty-two cats and no husband. It sounded like a fulfilling end.
In all honesty, she was very much lonely. She and her elder brother were attached at the hip, but he wasn't always around. In those moments in which he wasn't, it was glaringly obvious: she did crave others. But she'd never admit, she was much too proud. So instead she pouted in her seat.

Daniel sat next to his little sister, headphones blaring violent music in his ears. He stared at nothing as his thoughts consumed him, he couldn't even hear the words. He and Ever had been invited to this trip and he made her go. IF she didn't, she may end up with forty-two cats and no husband. It didn't sound like a fulfilling end.
Secretly, he wanted to go himself. Daniel and his sister got along and understood each other perfectly, but it wasn't enough for either of them, he knew. They couldn't be hermits all of their life and one of them had to take the incentive. It wasn't going to be her.
