Evan nodded a little bit to Alec, though he still didn't loosen his grip on his board. God, he was going crazy. He closed his eyes, dropping his legs back onto the floor. He sat up, then slumped against the arm of the couch. He shook his head a little bit, running his free hand through his hair. "I'm going crazy," he mumbled to himself. He looked at the others in the living room. "I.. I'm sorry.." he finally said, still gripping his board tightly.

The younger boy frowned, standing up and going over to the other male. "Evan got a little bit nervous, so he held on pretty tightly to his board. You know how he loves that. I think it's sweet. But Cori said; 'No one's going to take it', and well... I'm not sure. I think I missed something. I only came in just a couple of minutes or so, so I don't know if something went down, or not."
He fidgeted with his fingers. "I hope Cori is okay..." When he heard Evan's apology, he looked up and over at him. He gave a gentle smile and nodded. "It's alright, Evan. Don't worry."

Corinna { Cory }

Cory trudged up the stairs silently before swinging open the door of her room. Her room was messy with a few clothes spilled on the floor, her bed was unmade too, but whatever. She'd clean it some other time. Cory opened her window all the way until it could fit her slim body. She liked living close to the roof so she could just think, but today, she'd just sit on the edge of the window and hang there with her legs dangling. Cory wasn't fearless, she just wasn't scared of heights nor was she scared of falling. She had felt worse pain then falling before. Sometimes she could remember the burning of the hot, stinging cigarette that gave her two circular scars, when she looked at the fire. She had felt every bit of pain that she had took, yet she was strong enough not to cry out in pain. Yet sometimes people just broke down since they held on for to long. Cory climbed onto the window and sat there looking around the busy city.

Alec still watched him. "Don't worry, you're not crazy." He said, putting his hand to where the tattoo shone in the light. His father obviously had made it known he wanted people to see it. Alec cursed the thing and was usually rather self conscious about it, but now he managed to forget about it, even for a second. "Yeah, I am, I'm going crazy. They're going to put me in the looney house, in like a straightjacket or something. Padded room and all," Evan rolled his eyes, he looked over at Gummi and Avery, he couldn't hear what they were talking about, but he guessed that they were talking about him. Max, Peyton and Blake, some of his friends outside of the house, would tell him pointblank that he was crazy and that he needed to calm down. That he really needed some fresh air. He rolled his eyes a little bit as he thought about that, a small smile playing on his lips. He looked back over at Gummi and Avery, biting down on his lip.

Avery ran his fingers through his hair and a frown tugged at his lips. "I guess it's important to him if he acted like that." He responded lightly to Gummi's explanation he turned his head to look at the two not-quite teens. "If you're going crazy, than we all are." He said in an attempt to cheer Evan up. "We're all here for a reason, so we all freak out sometimes." Avery flashed the guilty boy a grin. "There isn't anything to be sorry about to us, you might want to apologize to Cory in a little while though."

Evan studied Avery carefully, because he still didn't really trust him. He nodded a little bit, biting down on his lip. He had freaked out because he thought she was actually going to steal his board, and because the room was getting to crowded, making it seem like a smaller space. "I wonder if I can plead insanity, like they do on the cop shows, to her.." Evan said, chuckling a little. He ran a hand through his hair, still not letting go of his board.

Alec looked down for a moment before resting his gaze on Evan. "C'mon, I'm sure you're as sane as the rest of us... Maybe more sane than some." He said, glancing at his tattoo. It was once again on his mind. He'd scratched at it many times before, trying to cover it in scars. There were several already covering it. He did it again, burying his nail into his skin and ripping it across. Blood came out, but he hardly noticed, as his gaze had moved back to Evan.

Gummi laughed lightheartedly. "Like Avery said, we're all crazy. There isn't something called 'normal'."
The boy couldn't help but notice Alec's constant attention being placed on the tattoo'd star on his finger. He hummed and cocked his head, wondering what exactly it meant. Maybe it was a personal reminder?
Brown eyes flickered down to stare at the charm bracelet that held the two charms. He frowned a little, his hand covering it subconsciously.

After he had readied himself in the bathroom, Rylan started toward the stairs leading into the living room, his skateboard in tow [ i told you he'd have one pft ]. He made sure it made no contact with the flooring to prevent waking anyone who was still sleeping up. With a toss of his hair, he stood at the base of the staircase and scanned the room. Quite a few people were awake, not to mention those who had left to go back upstairs - he had taken note of Cori leaving in a rush - and a small sigh escaped his lips before he stepped into the room. "Good morning," he greeted the others as he neared the couch.
