Evan didn't let his grip on his board loosen, no matter what Alec told him. "Your dad couldn't have been a very good guy then.." He said, shaking his head, he spun the wheels with the hand that wasn't gripping the board. His hand was probably going to go numb eventually, since the blood wasn't fully flowing through it. But he didn't really care, he spun the wheels again. Then Gummi walked in, he shook his head, gripping his board a little tighter. "Hey.."

Corinna { Cory }

The twelve year old leaned back against the chair while looking around the room lazily before glancing at Alec and Evan. She had noticed that Evan was holding his board even tighter then usual as if he was afraid she was going to take it from him. She was a delinquent and she acknowledged that, but she wasn't in a gang. She just sometimes sold drugs at a young age. Why? She needed the money and it seemed like a good life style- until you got caught. Cory sighed and looked around the room once more. She was lucky she had found this place or else she would've been on the run everywhere. "Watcha talking 'bout?" Cory glanced back over towards the boys. She just couldn't help but over hear some of their conversation. Like most twelve year olds, she was nosy and well- just curious. Cory looked over as Gummi walked in. "Hey." She couldn't help but realize Evan was holding his board even tighter. "You do know that no one's going to take that from you." She retorted.

Alec nodded a greeting to Gummi. He turned back his attention to Evan. "I understand why my mom left... She must've figured it out. Not before she had me... Then my father said he owned me... And she didn't say anything but bye." He said. The reason is father had kept him confused him... Sometimes he'd call Alec the next Raella Scammer. But he fought it and that might've been a mistake. But now he was here, so it wasn't a total loss. When Corinna talked, Alec looked up at her. "And you do know you are an extremely annoying pest." He retorted.

Avery//Hungry//"There's nothing good to eat!"

Avery slightly spaced out, and watched as Skylar started crying. Stella had come and taken the adorable baby away and Alec was talking to Evan. The two were much closer in age, so he didn't mind much.

Avery, figuring he should change out of the sweatpants and baggy shirt he had slept in, walked to one of the two guys' rooms and pulled athletic shorts and a clean shirt out of his drawer. He changed out of his pajamas and into the new outfit. He shoved the dirty clothes under his bed and walked back out. Finally taking on the day, Avery decided to tend to his hunger and he walked into the kitchen. He opened the fridge door and peered into. Bread, eggs, milk, other breakfast foods. The breakfast foods didn't seem appealing so he settled with pouring him self a glass of milk and complaining to Stella later.
Avery closed the fridge and walked into the living room where a few other people were hanging out. Gummi had recently joined them while he was changing, but Corinna, Alec, and Evan were still there. He guzzled down the glass of milk and set it on the coffee table, deciding to clean it later. He leaned against a wall near the couch and listened for a few moments before. "Hey, guys." He paused and a slight whine was added to his voice, "When was the last time anyone went to the store?"

A sly grin spread like a disease across Gummi's face as he looked at Avery. "I don't know, but that's the sole reason I didn't eat this morning. Can't trust that food in there."
At the sound of Alec's retort, Gummi frowned. "Woah there. There's no need to be so sharp, is there?"

"You're dad couldn't have been a very good guy then," Evan replied to Alec, before looking over at Corinna, "Shut up," he said. He now had it in his mind that she said that because she was the one that wanted to steal his board. Maybe she was sending someone to do it. Maybe that someone was Avery. He shook his head, gripping his board even tighter now. He was going to end up cutting off circulation. That wouldn't be good. He pulled his legs up onto the couch, pushing his back against the back of the couch, trying to get away from them. "Just leave!" He finally yelled.

Corinna { Cory }

Cory fondled with her hair twirling it in circles. She was quite bored. She didn't really make any friends in the house yet, but being alone wasn't new at all. She was left at home most of the time when she was younger and she was always running away from the police since she sold drugs. Cory smirked and rolled her eyes at Alec's comment. "Right back at you." She snapped back before glaring at Evan who seemed to be thinking pretty intensely. She was surprised when Evan just shouted loudly at her to get out of the room. Honestly, it hurt. She was used to being pushed around by people always telling her to get out of their way. Fine. She would leave. Cory blinked with a blank expression before getting up from the couch and walked towards her room silently. She wasn't going to cry her eyes out just because of some stupid comment, she just wanted to be alone, maybe climb onto the roof of the place and look around.

Alec looked over at Evan."Evan, calm down." He said, feeling a bit bad for him, but not showing it. A sense of what he was yelling over was present. His board. He understood, he'd do anything to protect his knife that he wasn't allowed to have... But no one would try to steal that because... Well, it was a knife. No one in their right mind steals a knife. But anyways, that wasn't the just. It had been from his mother. And father. His father had delivered it from his mother... It was complicated.

Avery//Confused//"Calm down, please!"

Avery laughed and grinned, "Would Stella kill us if we went and bought something edible?" He asked jokingly. His smile slipped a little when Evan told Corinna to shut up. He creased his brow and opened his mouth to say something to him, when he screamed at Corinna to leave. He sighed lightly and shook his head. "What did she say to get him so riled up?" He asked Gummi and watched Cory, obviously startled, walk out with a blank look on her face. Some of the people here were a little less than mentally stable and freaked out at certain things. That which worried him because it meant they'd have to have had a rough past, and he hated to think that there were bad people out there that caused this.
