Gus noticed the girl {nicole} sitting alone by the campfire with a Pepsi as he twirled on his skateboard. He was instantly mesmerized and almost tripped off his board. Propping it against his car door, he walked over to her and looked down. Clearing his throat, he leaned back on his heels. "mind if I sit here? Everyone else is drunk."

Nicole bit her bottom lip softly and played with her pepsi can, letting her fingertips brush over it's logo. She sighed deeply and checked the time on her phone before putting it back in her pocket. She was sitting beside Mathew but from what she had observed he didn't talk much and it was getting quite awkward.'she hadn't said a word since the race had started.

Nicole brown eyes drifted from person to person, watching them closely and frowned slightly. She looked down at her shoes and twirled her long wavy brown hair around her finger, she didn't have much else to do.
