Gus sat heavily onto the hood of his car, his shoulders slumping. He swirled his thumb around the top of his can and etched little designs with the switchblade he carried in his back pocket. Sighing, he stood again, too jittery to sit still for long. He reached into the back of his car and pulled out a skateboard. Smiling, he let it drop onto the ground and twirled around on it playfully.

I walked past a couple of cute guys but they were taken and drunk. I sighed and saw a guy fooling around on his skateboard. I smiled as i watched him a little bit. I walked closer to him slowly.
