Erik nodded to Krystal once more before standing with his profiles in hand, and leaving the room. It was almost an instant change. Once out of that room it was time to get to work, which meant he was no longer joking around. From now it was serious business. The meeting had been held under a large hotel, all the military personnel had a room here. This is used in order to keep everything underground, hidden from the real world. Erik took the elevator up into the lobby of the hotel, and then a different elevator up to floor 30. He walked down the hall to room #3031 he took out the key to the room. The door unlocked and he walked inside. However this wasn't his room, it actually wasn't a room at all. It was an elevator that went up to floor 31. Floor 31 didn't exist to the outside world, it was exclusively for the military. Floor 31 is where all the military rooms are. It may seem like it would be noticeable, but what better place to hide something then in plain sight?
After going through a few procedures, Erik was let up into the thirty-first floor. From there he want down to his room, once inside, the door locks automatically behind him, and he goes to his desk. Setting down the profiles and turning on his computer. "Alright... Annett Kowitz, where are you...? He muttered to himself as he searched for her on his computer. He looked for anything he could on the name, and any other information he had on her. Spinning his chair to the right, on a different computer he had the information up on Korra Mason. He spent most of the day in his room searching for any kind of information he could get.

The cool November wind blew Kenji's hair around a bit as she walked down the sidewalk. She pulled the collar of her leather jacket up so it came up around neck, then she put her hands back in her pockets. She had to stop at the corner and wait for the cars to pass. As she waited, she looked up at the cloudy sky. It's only the beginning of November and it's already rather cool... this is going to be a harsh winter... She thought, and then looked back down and walked across the street. I'm going to have to move again soon... I hope those kids can make it through the winter... She thought as she walked aimlessly down the sidewalk, her hair in her face as usual. She stopped in front of an alley way and looked down it. It had an odd smell omitting from it, it was faint, but she recognized it. The alley way was dark from shadows, but she turned and walked down it. It was a long alley, but has she walked further the smell got stronger. It continued to get stronger until Kenji came to the source. There was a thin blanket covering two small little balls by a dumpster. Sticking out from under one corner of the blanket there was a small foot, and on the opposite side there was a small hand. Kenji knew what was under the blanket, but she wanted to make sure. She moved the corner of the blanket, and saw what she had expected. She sighed and moved the blanket back over the top of them. Looking up to the sky again, she turned to walk away. "I'll stay here until winter is over..." She told her self as she walked away from the horrible sight.
Once back out on the street, Kenji kept her head low and her eyes to the ground. She knew where she was going now. She crossed the street and continued around a few blocks before she found the store she wanted to go to. It was a small flower shop, Kenji pulled the door open and felt the wonderful warmth of the heater. She took a breath of the warm air before she turned and walked up to the florist. "What can I get for you, mam? Something fancy for a special someone?" The elderly woman asked.
Kenji looked up at the woman and shook her head, "No, thanks. I just want two White Columbine flowers."The woman nodded, and walked to the back of the building. She came back a few moments later carrying the two pure white flowers in her hand.
"Would like me to put them in a wrap?""No that's okay. Thanks any way." Kenji said with a small smile."Well, that'll be $2.23 miss."Kenji nodded and pulled out her wallet from her pocket. She pulled out the two dollars, and then looked in her pocket for change. After a moment of looking Kenji was able to find a two dimes and a nickle. She handed to florist the money, who in return handed her the flowers and the two cents with a smile. Kenji smiled back and noticed a tip container on the counter, she placed the two cents in it. "Sorry, it's not much." Kenji said. The woman had a look of almost shock on her face, but than just smiled gratefully at Kenji.
"Thank you." The woman said softly, and meaningfully.
Kenji simply nodded and left the flower shop, to go back out on the street. Kenji put the flowers on an inside pocket of her jacket, before walking back the way she came. Kenji walked the way back to the alley and then back down to the dumpster. It was just as she had left it. Kenji pulled out the flowers and held them in her hands, "...So innocent... so pure... so small... you fought hard... now it's your time to rest..." Kenji muttered as she walked away. The flowers now rested on top of the blanket. The breeze gently blew the snow white petals of the two flowers.
...Two flowers don't pay for two souls, but it's all I could do... I'm sorry...
