Cassandra slipped under the covers and fell straight to sleep. She dreamed of the boy she had met today, the one that bumped into Cam.

Dakota smiled softly as he glanced out the window as he stroked her hair with a gentle hand. He felt the need to protect her, protect her from dangers. He sighed softly and held her closer noticing that her breathing slowed, which meant she was asleep, but he had no need to sleep. He just sat there with her in his arms staring at nothing, protecting her.
