Louis sighed and led Claire into the house. He turned back as he entered the house and rubbed the back of his neck. "I suppose you'll want to get to bed now?" Louis watched her hopeful that she would stay with him, but he understood that she must be horribly tired after all the trauma she'd been through.

Claire gave a sigh of relief as they entered the house, no murderer waiting for them. She looked up at him when Louis spoke and she shook her head. Her fear overtook her drowsiness. What had happened in her room was something she didn't want to go through again, and honestly, she didn't want to sleep in her room. "No, I'm going to stay awake for a while longer." she said her eyes flitting to the ground.

Relieved, Louis stepped forward and took her face in his palms. "Is it a good thing that it makes me happy?" He kissed her forehead lightly and took her hand. "Would you like to go sit outside, love?"

Claire smiled softly as he held her face in his hands, and blushed as he kissed her. She nodded, squeezing his hand gently and heading outside.

Smiling, he brought her over to a swing on the end of the porch. Louis sat down, pulling her down next to him very gently as not to hurt her. He played with a lock of her hair and kissed her once more. "I'm so glad you're here Claire.. You.. bring me so much happiness I don't think you could ever understand.."

Claire fiddled with her fingers. His soft voice soothed her, and his words warmed her heart. She looked up at him, smiling lovingly. She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it quickly. She felt a lump in her throat. "I'm happy to be sharing this moment with you, Louis." she said quietly, her eyes looking into his. "Because you make me happy." she said simply, but even if it was simple, she still had butterflies in her stomach.

Louis smiled, the smile touched his eyes deep down. He pulled his beanie down further over his ears. "You're special Claire." Louis rested his open hand on his leg, but kept the other around her. He glanced at her lovingly and sighed. "You make me happy as well Claire.." Louis had no idea what to say now, he was suddenly nervous.

Claire sighed, leaning against him and putting her head on his shoulder. She was quiet for a long moment, just with him there..quietly..it was nice, and calming. Here at that moment, she felt safe...with him. She swallowed, biting her lip, scared to ask him. But she decided to. "Louis?" she said quietly, her eyes looking forward. "Um..." she struggled with her words. "When I do..decided to go to bed.." she blinked, "would it be okay if I slept in your room?" she said quickly. She felt herself get red with embarrassment.

He smiled. "Of course, Claire. I'm a bit of a restless sleeper though. I hope that won't bother you.." Louis yawned and gave a small shudder, it was so peaceful out in the dark of night that it was hard not to become tired. He sat still for a moment, closing his eyes briefly. Not long after he felt himself drifting to sleep, and had to will himself to stay awake. "When do you think bed-time is?" He glanced at her with a smile, "Because I'm rather tired now as it is."

"That's okay." she giggled, as she yawned shortly after. Her eyelids became heavier. "Would you mind if we go to bed now?" she asked him, quickly glancing up at him, then to the door.
