Sean sped along on his freeline skates for a few more feet, then tugged on his dog's lead to get his attention. Sorren perked his ears and slowed down a bit. The teenager pulled a little harder, causing his dog to slide to a halt. Sean skidded to a halt and dropped one foot to the ground so he didn't fall over. He looked back over to see if Roberta was still there. He heard her dog barking, and Sorren barked back loudly. Shhhhh... Sean crouched down to the floor and wrapped one arm around his dog and ruffled Sorren's chestnut red coat. Sorren whined and rested his head on Sean's lap after barking back to the other dogs. Sean laughed and gently told off his dog for barking too loud, but in the end he picked up the dog then stood up, holding the dog in his arms.
