As I walked to homeroom I saw Connor and Skai together. "Hey guys!" I waved to them.

AJ walked into school, knowing she must be late. Her phone buzzed. Really? She wondered. Her phone would be confiscated if found, so she slipped her hand into her pocket and hit the 'reject call' button. She hurried to her locker that was right by the front door.

I walked to homeroom and got in my seat. I grabbed a magazine from my desk and started reading it until bell rang.
