snapped. Drew could be very bipolar,
one minute he's upset or happy then
the next minute he's angry for something.
He looked at his phone to see if he got any
text messages. His inbox was still empty.

Toby's moved away from Merlin just as her father was walking towards them. She tried to beg her dad but he wouldn't have any of it. "Marlin or whatever your name is- out of my house." he yelled at the boy after forcing Toby to go to her room- she was crying.

Jasmine opened her eyes and sat up. She was considering how to react when he looked at his phone. "Waiting for someone?" she inquired, while climbing back to her feet. She pressed her lips together and walked into kitchen again, this time returning with a damp cloth. She walked back to the couch and settled down next to him, wondering if he might reject her attention. "You're bleeding." she said quietly, letting her gaze travel over his face and to his arms.

I nodded. "Yes sir." I said and walked out of their house. "I`lll just go home and get beat, as normal." I said softly and looked at Tobys house again. I slwoly went home and walked in, of corse, my dad was waiting for me, whip in his hand. I went over to him and shut my eyes, ready. He smaked me again and again with it. When he had his fill, i went to the shower to wash off the blood.

He scooted away from her when
she grabbed the cloth, "I don't
need it," he told her. He wiped
his face with his shirt and grunted
when he touched his face. It burned
his face really bad.

Jasmine smiled a knowing smile, because just as she had expected, Andrew refused to let her help. She glanced around the room to hide how hurt she felt. She opened her mouth to say something, but snapped it shut again, holding in the cold words she had been about to speak. "Make yourself at home," she muttered finally, getting to her feet and walking down the hallway, back to her room. She didn't bother closing the door behind her as she walked over to her dresser and pulled out a more comfortable set of clothes. A pair of dark purple sweat pants and a clean, white tee that clung snugly to her. She changed into the clothes and pulled her hair back with a clip. The colors complimented her fair skin, and her hair being pulled back showed off her very feminine cheekbones and slightly upturned nose. She blinked at herself, feeling better in the fresh clothes. She put some deoderent on and used a wipe to cleanse her face, running it over her smooth skin to wipe away any tears that had streaked her face.

Catherine grinned when he started to sing along to the music. "You have an amazing voice. That was Somewhere in the Middle, by Dishwalla, right?" she said once the song was over. She clapped as well, just to be cheesy. "You remind me of my father." she added suddenly, her grin softening into a sad smile. Her eyes had become teary when he played the old guitar.

Jasmine closed the door behind him and walked over to the couch as well, standing behind it as he sat down. She blinked and looked away when he asked if she was okay. "Not really," she said quietly, her thoughts returning to her anger, making her head throb again. "I need to take some tylonel." she muttered, walking into the kitchen. When she returned, she was holding a clear glass of water in one hand, and two small capsules in the other. She tipped the glass to pour some of the water into her mouth, then quickly followed that with the two pills. She swallowed, despite how tight her throat felt, downing the tylonel. She let out a rough cough and rested the glass of water on a sidetable before she sank back into the couch closing her eyes and letting out a defeated sigh.

I smile and nod. Blushing a little when she compliments on my singing. My smile vanishes when her's becomes a sad smile. I lift up her chin and look into her eyes. Hey, it's okay. I search her eyes with my own, hands warm and fingers a little numb from stoking the strings.
