Thomas' eyes flutterd open once again, as he fought to stay counsious. " Very funny ", he said lightly to James who was examing his ingury, and smiled up slightly to Madaline. " I'm sorry, don't worry Ill be fine ", Thomas stated as he winced while James tried to help. " That's not helping mate! ", he said, embarrased that he was now the center of attention. " Go away nothing to see here! ", he struggled to shout at the bystandards. He let out another groan, still werstling with consiousness.

Madaline looked down at Thomas. "You won't be fine, and you know it. It seems you lied to me when I asked if you were alright, and you weren't." Madaline said, now she wasn't that all worried, but upset he still insisted he was fine. She looked over at Adam. "Thank you for the offer, but it seems he is alright." She slowly stood up from her position.

"Are you sure my car is right there." Adam said pointing across the street were he parked his car after he had went up into his house. "Really I don't mind." He fished around in his pockets for the keys to the DB9 which he found tucked neatly in his back pocket.

Madaline just shrugged. "Its his decision." She said, looking down at Thomas who was still on the ground.

Thomas sighed, " You're right, I'm sorry. I didn't want you to worry, Ill let you get back to your boyfriend ", he said refering to Adam, a very jealous tone lingerd in his voice. " Think Id like to go take a nap ", he told James as he held out his hand for James to help him up. " Sorry mate, I felt fone during lunch. I'm not sure what happendd ", he said, secertly knowing that the conbonation of the head ingury, cold and seeing the girl he like with another guy made him espically fragile. " No! ", he snapped at Adam, though it wasn't his fault Madaline like him istead Thomas. " I-I mean no thank you ..... ", he said softly " I think my roomate will help me get home, thank you".

∇ James smiled, dabbing at the wound and fronting sternly as he pulled him up "If youre not going to hospital then I'm going to have to stitch that wound up and run some tests when we get back" he added with a smile, pulling down the bandage again and turning to the lad speaking "I apologise for his behaviour, I think that knock is effecting him" he added with a raised brow ignoring Thomas's pleas and statements as everyone else ventured away. James placed Thomas's arm over his shoulders "But if you do show signs of I'll health again, you are going to hospital" he added sternly, he hadn't studied neuroscience for nothing . Δ

" Yeah, Yeah ", Thomas grumbled as James helped him up. " Its probaly a combonation of Jet lag, the cold, and my ingury. I think I just need sleep. ", He said defending himself, and happy James made an excuse for his behaviour, though he often acted like that all the time. " Sorry ever body ", he said as he pulled on his coat slowly. " Can we postpone the shopping? ", he asked James with a slight smirk. " I think a nice spot of tea and a good nights sleep will fix me right up ", he told James." Don't forget to give me a ring! ", he shouted at Madaline over his shoulder as James and Tom began to leave. Once they got outside thomas turned to James, " I blew it didn't I? "

"I am not her boyfriend. She just helped me find some books. dude come on." Adam said trying his best to keep his cool which right now it was escaping him. "ok well I guss i will leave you two to sort some things out." He said to Madaline before he turned to walk across the street.

Madaline couldn't quite believe he swooped that low. She refused to say something back, for she knew if she did she would say something she didn't really mean. Instead Madaline just gritted her teeth and walked out the bookstore. After she was away from everybody else she couldn't help up spill tears. She wiped them away. "First week in the city and already I screwed up. "She mumbled, opening the doors to her apartment building.
