{ Carolina Dare } "Please don't be in love with someone else. Please don't have somebody waiting on you."-Taylor SwiftWoah. Carolina pried her gaze back down to Twister and forced herself to take deep breaths. In. Out. In. Out. Her mind scattered as she fumbled with the leather straps wrapped tightly around her hand. Twister answered the mare's whinnies with snorts and hurried nickers. He tossed his tail in the air and pulled at the reins, trying to make the dang women stop making him sick. She responded with a flick of the reins and a touch of her heel, straightening him out. Immediately he pulled his head in the mare's direction and crunched to a stop. Carolina lifted her chin, but she didn't dare look at the guy again, for fear that she would go ballistic. He is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. She looked up. Twister moved towards the other trail. She tugged on the reins again. Twister stopped. She bit her lip.--
{ Brandon Jackson } Don't be fallin' in love as she's walkin' away, when your heart won't tell your mind to tell your mouth what it should say."-The Zac Brown BandBrandon nodded again as he rubbed a hand on the back of his neck. "It does help," he agreed "Thank you. I love her, but, she definitely is a trouble-maker. She hasn't been away from the abusive people for long. I've only had her for about two years. And I think the rescue said they had just received her when I got there. But I do hope she grows out of it." Bullet shifted his weight, and Brandon remembered he was on a horse. Oh yeah, idiot. He slipped his foot out of the stirrup and hopped to the ground.
Kylie Reigh"That's good." Kylie said. She listened to what he said before saying, "I hope she grows out of it, too! You seem like a very trust-worthy person; I think she'll get used to being around you real soon."
Kylie, without realizing it, had complimented him, and she smiled slightly to herself, not believing that she had just said that out loud.
Wow! she thought.
The things that come out of my mouth at this point in time! She was just about to say something when a girl with ginger-coloured hair approached them, introducing herself and her horse, Soul, but then immediately left, as quick as the wind coming and going.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you... okay?" said Kylie, getting left in the dust, her hand in a mid-wave.
Someone seems to be in a hurry, she thought to herself, frowning a little.
Oh well. She can do whatever she likes. It's not my call. She looked at Brandon, giving him a crooked smile. "Well, that was certainly interesting." She patted Charles, earning herself a little whicker from him, trying to nuzzle into the crook of her neck.
Charlie Marco-Leigh DuhamelCharlie watched with amusement as the horses's strong feelings were clearly etched over to his side, towards Marla, and he seemed to be going ba
llistic with frenzied excitement, causing the girl to adjust his reins and try to calm him down.
In a few moments time, the girl managed to get the horse under control and he noticed her avoiding his curious gaze.
Charlie looked away, blushing the slightest while smiling a little, realizing that he shouldn't have stared; he must've made her feel uncomfortable.
Sighing, he looked back up at the pretty girl, who appeared to be blushing, but more than he was. "Hey," he called out, turning Marla a little (she was more than obliged to, of course!) towards the shrubs that separated the two Paths, at-least in this section. "It seems that our horses seem to like each other." Charlie smirked, wondering what she'd reply back with. "How about that? Should we introduce them?" He hoped he didn't sound cocky or anything; Charlie was anything but (except when he was being flirtatious, he called it "The Charlie-Woo Factor").
