Eva
As she opened her mouth to respond, Eva was interrupted buy the younger girl, who had previously been aiding the man. She looked down at him and partly smiled at the girl’s eagerness. I guess there’s no point in trying to get his mind off of it now she raised her eyebrows. Laying her sweater down on a patch of sand next to the couple, Eva sat, keeping a couple of feet distance between them. She held her knees in her arms and her shoe in one finger, as she scanned the horizon. She exhaled silently. The smell of the stranger’s blood hit her at this height. She peered at her own wound, opening her legs ever so slightly, only to check out her situation. It throbbed and ached. Not too bad. Could get infected though she thought as a gust of sea air blew her hair back. The older man grimaced in pain when the girl applied pressure to his wound. She grew concerned with him, as he collapsed back onto the sand after attempting to sit up.
Liam
Liam heard the woman getting up, then thank him. As he began to turn and tell her it was no problem, whatsoever, he heard her stumble and felt her slap against his back. He didn’t budge when she made contact, but he turned quickly to help steady her. She was definitely out of it, and quite frail at the moment. He held onto her forearms and looked down at her teal blue eyes. She wasn’t wearing makeup, nor did she need any. She was older, but her complexion was quite illuminating. The redhead was, also, blushing, which made her pale face so pink. She tried to pull away from his grasp, but Liam did not believe she would be healthily stable on her own; he kept his own arm out for her to stable herself on. He looked to his left and saw groups and pairs of survivors, and others not so fortunate.
Karen
Karen, practically being dragged by this behemoth of a man, used what little strength she had in her legs to keep up with him. Once the duo reached the other side of the island, Karen excitement rose quickly from her stomach. “Hey!” she grinned from ear to ear, raising her hand and pointing at the swarm. She looked at the man supporting her, “People!” The two hurried over to the first group they saw. There were two brunette females, sitting in the sand next to a brawny man. “Hi, I’m Karen!” Karen spoke with the last ounces of breath she had. Her cheeks hurt from smiling so hard.
