"You and your cat won't be a bother," Mark responded, following her again. Wow, he sounded like a freak. "Please, I don't feel comfortable with you out on your own. You still have your phone? If you needed anything you could just ask me or something."

I stopped and looked at him "Are you sure, and yes I do have my phone." I said holding it up.

"I'm sure. We can exchange numbers and you can go and get your cat and your things and we can meet somewhere so I can get my car. Or I can meet you at your parents place if you'd text me the address." Mark said.

Violet.
I smile and hug him. "thank you, and I don't think youll want to meet my mother." I said and pulled away. I gave him my number and smiled. " thank you, again." I said pushing the hair from my face.

Mark smiled. "Don't worry about it. What if we met at the corner of your street? That way we don't have to worry about me meeting your mom and you don't have to go too far with your stuff," he said.

[Griever.]

Violet.
I thought about it and nodded "I live on Hollow street...lived." I corrected myself.

"Well at least now you won't have to sleep on the park bench or something," Mark said, trying to lighten her mood. "Um, so good luck, try not to get into any more spats with your mom for me, ok?" he said, giving her a lopsided smile. "My names Mark, by the way."

[Griever.]

Violet.
I smile back "I'm Violet" I said and put my phone in my pocket. "I'll um, I'll text you when I'm done." I said and started running home and right when I walked in the door I had a hand on my face and I snapped " I Came To Get My Stuff And My Cat." I yelled and ran upstairs and started packing.

Mark headed back to the apartment to get his car, Belle still at his heels. Once he'd gotten over there, he'd picked up a few things that were out, and made the bed in the small, spare room in the back of the apartment. After he was done with that, he'd grabbed his keys, which he'd left on the kitchen, and went to his car. Belle met with him the moment he stepped from the door and followed him into the car. Mark didn't mind the company but he wasn't sure how Violet's cat would react to the beagle. "You gotta stay here, girl," He said softly to the beagle as he stood with the drivers' door open, looking at the beagle who sat on the seat. Belle gave a short whine, lying down and looking up at him. Mark sighed after a moment and rolled his eyes. "Oh alright," he said, and Belle perked up and jumped onto the passenger seat as Mark got into the car and started the car. It wasn't a special car, just an old, not-to-beaten, black truck. Heading to the street corner, he just waited there, having no other place to go. At one point as Mark drove over there though, Belle had climbed onto his lap and put her paws on the wheel. As he waited, the dog had moved from the wheel to the window, curiously looking around as Mark scratched her behind the ear.

I yelled at my mother as I threw my house key at her. "you better take care of carol." I said said as I walked out of the house." I had tears sliding down my face as I walked to the sidewalk and pulled out my phone and texted Mark •~•I'm done•~• I said and looked at my cat and smiled ashejumped in my lap.
