"Okay. Okay. Bye." Paris said into her phone as she started to drive again after stopping for a quick coffee. She tapped her steering wheel as she drove down the winding road, heading to the beach house she was to be staying in for the summer. The last freedom she'll have before she goes to college. She was going to California State University on a scholarship for being a solo in her choir class. It had always been her dream to be known for her singing, and that's just what she was known for throughout her high school years. Along with the many other things she was good at. She nervously tapped on the steering wheel as she turned. She reached over and turned on the radio, which she usually keeps on the 70s, 80s, or 90s channel. "So keep the faith. Don't let nobody turn you round. You gotta know when it's good to go, to get your dreams up off the ground." She sang along to the radio as she checked to make sure she was going the right way. Finally, 5 minutes later, she pulled up to the beach house.
Paris turned the car off and put on her dad's favorite sunglasses, which she had kept in her room since her dad died. She stepped out into the warm sunshine, even though none of it touched her thin stick-like arms. She was wearing dark skinny jeans, a black tank top, a light jacket, a fedora, sneakers, and a few pieces of jewelry. She didn't really like to wear shorts and she got cold easily, which was the effect of anemia, so she didn't take off her jacket. She walked around to the back of her car, popped the trunk, pulled out her bags, and shut the trunk, making sure to lock the car. She didn't trust people that well. Even if she knew them. She wasn't amazed like most people would be at how amazing the beach house was. She used to live in California in a beach house. She's seen the beauties of them. She took up the bags and walked up to the door. She set her bags down, opened the door, and walked up the stairs. She put her bags in a room and went back downstairs.
