I nodded and turn, starting to walk. "I love dragon and demon stories. Stuff about dark magic." I said and smiled down at her.

Jewl nodded " yeah I like that kind of stuff and some good mysteries "

I nodded and chuckled. "Lets not forget about those stupid comides!" I said and smiled.

I bowed to her as she left, most people saw the princess as spoiled and even cruel but none of them were any worse than most people. They were just human just like the rest of us, I got back to work and finished up the stalls and returned the horses to them. It was really hot in here and I needed some more water, so I headed out to the well in the back.

I smiled smelling fresh bread and heard the sound of children laughing and playing, finally I was here this place I loved the most. "Princess, princess.."I heard the happy calls of the children I would always play with and they came running up to me. I bent down and hugged each on of them "Ello everyone it's great to see you all well today."I said with a smile. "Yes, princess we have something to show you." One of the girls said and took my hand leading me down the street and to a small alley with some boxes. I heard the faint sound of a meow and out came a white and gray spotted cat. "We have tired to take care of him cause his family died and he is the only one left, but we can't afford to get him food and none of our parents will let us take him in." I sighed and picked up the cute little kitten; and smiled kindly "I'm not sure if Father will allow me to keep him, he might not want me to even have it. But I will see what I can do and if it comes down to it I'll hide him and take care of him still." I said and bent down looking at all the kids, "I promise I will help this sweet little creature and you all did a very good thing trying to take care of him, whats his name?" I asked holding the kitten gently in my arms. "Thank you princess and we have been calling him Tomas." I nodded and stood up "I have to go now, I will be back soon and sure to tell you all about how well he is doing." I said waving good bye as I headed home, I wasn't planing on going back so soon but I had to now with Tomas in my care; I sighed not knowing how mad father would be for me bring in a stray cat.

I chukle and watch the world around me. My hand brushed hers, i looked away, shyly.
