Lauren looked at the three piles with interest, picking up one of his mother's bracelets. She held it gingerly, like it would break at any moment. "Do you take this with you everywhere?" she asked placatingly. It was sweet of him to keep all of it instead of selling it at the nearest pawn shop. She set the dazzling bracelet back down onto the pile.

ya well our house set on fire when we were about to move, and this was outside so it was the only thing that survived. the firetrucks came as soon as possible, my mom, aunt, and grandmother died from the fire. my grandmother was to old to move from the chair to her wheel chair so she was the first to die. my aunt choked on all the smoke in the air. and my mom struggled to find me but she didnt know dad had already toke me outside, they got to her and she was still alive, but she died on the way to the hospital." he said holding back tears.

I layed back in my bed and fell asleep too.

I walked to my room and tried opening it but it was locked. "Adrian?" I called out as I knocked on the door.
