Soon enough, Aspen let out a cough, ater trickling from the side of her mouth. Aspen's eyes fluttered open, but they were dulled from their usual bright electric blue. She narrowed her eyes, looking from Scott to Mitch. Her throat burned and felt like sand paper and was as dry as ever. She sat up but cringed at a pain that shot through her shoulder and forehead. She felt something slide down the side of her face and raised her hand to it, feeling blood. This made her even more confused.
"W-What happened...?" she squeaked, frightened.
