Smoke turned towards the mess hall. "I'll tell you on the way." he sighed. Then made a mental note to buy a bigger sweatshirt.

Dakota smiled, "I'm from Oregon." she said, "I'm pretty well known there. My art is all over that state. Walls, streets, any blank canvas. I got three schools to put in metal detectors after we moved away. My dad is embarrassed of me." she spoke with confidence. She always loved to tell people about the crimes she committed, but this time it just didn't feel that rewarding.

Elean nodded slightly and slipped her hand into his, squeezing it lightly. She walked with him to the mess hall.

Paige kissed his cheek lightly, "Should we head in now?" she asked

Rocky chuckled, "I'm no artist but I hear that notebooks work really well and dare I ask why you made schools put in metal detectors?" he asked with a smirk.

Smoke stayed silent until they were out of sight from anyone. He stopped walking and lifted his sweatshirt so she could see the whole thing. It went from the top of his shoulder, down to his belly button. "Two years ago there was a fire. My friends and I were smoking and we fell asleep with the cigs still lit. I'm the only one who was injured. We were in the basement surrounded by a bunch of pipes. I was the first to wake up," he stopped to breath and collect his thoughts. "I saw a pipe coming loose above my best friend. I woke him up and got him and his girlfriend to leave while I grabbed the dog sleeping on the floor. The pipe came down and cut and burned my chest." he finished the story, almost in tears. But it felt good to tell someone what really happened that night.

Dakota smiled. "Notebooks make me feel constricted. I can't do everything I need to in a notebook. And I didn't do anything. People just get scared to easily." she replied.

Aaron nodded and stood up, Paige in his arms he set her down and slipped his hand into her's. "Sure.."

Elena blinked, hearing the story. She looked up at Smoke, then wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly. After a moment she looked up at him again and put a hand to his cheek. She rubbed her thumb across his cheek. "I'm so happy you're ok, Smoke.." She said softly. She reached up on her tip toes and kissed his forehead.

Smoke smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "Of course I am, so is the dog." he held her tight.

Elena smiled softly and resed her head on his chest, wrapping her arms around him again. "I..I like you alot Smoke.." She whispered softly.

Rocky noded, "That makes sense." he sat up running a hand through his hair, "I think dinners going to be soon do you want to start heading over?" he asked.
