Ash smiled, "It sounds beautiful. You want to kick it up a notch?" she said and clicked her tongue against her teeth. She smiled and patted Aspens rump before shooting off into the woods, holding back a little so that Carter could take the lead.

Carter smirked and grave Thunder a small tap on the flank, though he didn't need it. His natural competitive instinct already had him cantering after Aspen. Carter laughed and took the lead again. "Duck!" He yelled back to Ash as he ducked under an over hanging branch.

Isabelle smiled at the filly as she stuck her head out and nudged Izzy on the shoulder. She patted her nose gently and kept on walking. "I'm not sure if you should. I mean, she isn't found of other horses and it might just make her more wary." She spoke gently, knowing this was his horse she was talking about. "But maybe you won't have to do anything, she might take to a stallion herself. Mares are more independent than people give them credit for." She added.

Marcus followed her to the stable. He was surprised to see Mystery was laying in the straw instead of standing. She saw him and heaved herself back into a standing position. He smiled and put on her lead. Then he led her out into the isle and walked her a few paces, turned her around and trotted her back to the stall. "Looks like your leg is fine." He patted her hip and ran his hand down her leg just to make sure. "Yep, everything's good." Then he tied her up and went to get his grooming kit.

Jason nodded, listening to Izzy "I think you're right." he sighed. Gun was getting along with other horses much better but forcing her into breeding wouldn't help her at all. "I think ill wait and see." He said "If she is in season and she decides she wants to breed I'll leave that up to her." he decided and continued looking at the horses as they passed through the isles.

November smiled and got all of Sylus's grooming stuff and equiptment, placing it next to his stall before putting his halter on and leading him into the isle. She then set to work on grooming him down which wasnt that bad since he had mannaged to stay clean. November sighed, this was the first tie in awhile that she got to groom Sylus herself for the show.

Ash smiled as she didn't duck but sat taller on the bare back of her horse. When you thought aspen was going to go under the branch Aspen reared up and sidestepped the branch, even though it wouldn't have touched her. "Surprise!" she laughed at his expression she kept on thundering (wink wink) down the path.

Carter laughed. He gave Thunder a small signal and he changed his stride. They passed Ash and Aspen quickly and he turned onto a side path. There, he slowed the stallion down mostly because it was a rough trail and he didn't want to hurt him. So far, Carter didn't think anyone had found the clearing yet since the path wasn't part of the main trail.

Isabelle smiled a little. There weren't many people in the stable, mostly stable hands taking care of various horses. How a horse is treated tells a lot about it's owner. "How do people not want to take care of their own horses?" She asked, slightly amazed.

Marcus Flinn

Marcus took a long time on brushing out Mystery's pelt. Then he went to her mane and tail. He hadn't given her tail a good brush in awhile and it took him some time to get all of the tangles out.

"Some horses arn't being ridden by their owners." Jason said with a shrug "Their rides are most likely looking after their own horses and so they need stable hands to help them with the other horses they ride." He watched as different people rushed around tring to get their horses ready in time. Jason waved at a group of his he saw gathered by a tack box, he grabed Isabelle's hand and pulled her with him. "I havn't seen you guys in forever!" he exclaimed and gave them each a 'guy' hug.

November quickly finnished on Sylus's mane and then started on his mane and tail. After brushing it out good and applying some shine she started with some english show braids on his neck and then did a show braid on his tail. When she finnished she made sure it was good enough for the ring.

Ash laughed and quickly asked her horse to stop with a tug on a different part of her mane. Aspen understood and slowed to a walk before desending down the path. The path looked like it was so old, like a rider and horse usedd to come here but not in 20-30 years at least.

Carter heard Ash and Aspen come on the path behind him. "Part of the stream cuts through the path up here, so just be careful." He called to her as he rounded the corner and the gurgling sound of water running met his ears. Thunder perked his ears and snorted uneasily, he was not a fan of water. The stream goes in a straight path through the clearing, then it rounded back on itself and came back on the path. Carter saw the stream up ahead and pushed Thunder into a canter. This part of the creek was thin and Thunder was able to jump it without getting wet, something he liked to avoid. He slowed the mustang down and waited for Ash on the other side.

Isabelle nodded, slightly embarrassed she hadn't thought of that but didn't show it. She gasped in surprise when Jason pulled her over to a group of people. She stood by while he greeted them, looking down at her feet. If she knew the person a little, she wasn't that shy, but she didn't have a clue who these guys were plus, they were competitors.

Marcus braided Mystery's tail easily. When he got to the mane however, he had some problems. After five minutes of frustrated, very bad braiding, he finally looked over at November. "Mind helping me?" He asked with a sheepish smile.

Ash grinned. "Come on girl." she pushed Aspen easily into a canter and reached up Aspens mane and got into two point by squeezing Aspens stomach to bring her up. Aspen cleanly jumped the stream and continued to the other side.
