"Ha!" She said laughing, a grin creeping on her face. She walked into the barn and snapped a halter on Aspen leading her to the crossties. "Do you want be to put on my trick saddle or bareback?" She asked as she quickly brushed Aspen down. Unclipped the crossties and vaulted up onto her bare back.

"I'm nervous too." Jason admited "The competion results are used to decide what level team you're on for the first part of the year." The school had 4 levels for each riding style and, everyone got evaluated durring the first show to determine what level you would be on-beginner, intermediate, advanced or pro. Last year he was put in with the intermediate but he was hoping to move up to the advanced this year. He knew that if he did well enough in the show he had a really good chance of being bumped up.

November claped and smiled "Very nice. It took me weeks to get that down." she admitted, "getting up is the hardest part. Once you have that down everything else comes easy." Hearing her phone ding in her pocket, she took it out and read the text from her dad. "Hey Mark, remember Jupiter?" She asked looking up at him after putting her phone back in her pocket.

Carter guessed she answered the questions herself. He brought Thunder out and brushed the loose dust form his pelt. The stallion felt the tension in the air and pounded his hoof. "Easy, boy." Carter patted his shoulder, then mounted.

Isabelle felt a little less worried when they reached the stables for the visiting horses. "We'll check out the English horses first." There were different breeds of horses in English riding, but there weren't that many in the Western side. Mostly Quarter Horses and Paints. Knight gave her a little trouble when applying for competition because of his breed. Not many judges like breeds competing that weren't bred for Western. After Isabelle rode, they usually changed their minds.

Marcus told Hades to go back to a walk and sat down again. "Thanks, it's still hard to do. I felt like I was going to fall again." He chuckled and stopped the stallion. "Yeah," He liked the horse and hoped nothing bad happened to him.

Ash laughed, "I think I know why you call him thunder. After you, My Guide." She laughed again. She didn't know these woods and valleys.

Jason nodded and walked down the isle looking at all the different breeds, the standerd horses were Thoroughbreds, various types of Warmbloods and even some Apendix Quarter horses. He kept walking looking at the different horses but there was 1 horse that caught his attention isntantly. He had to stop right infront of his stall at look at him, "Valiance" he read looking at the name plate. He then looked up at the horse, he was about 16 hands tall and a Knabstrupper. The spotted gelding just screamed expensive, he was any show jumpers dream horse, Jason couldnt find one flaw. This horse was built to be a top show jumper and Jason knew as soon as he saw the striking male that him and Gun had major competion.

"I know I've been asking alot of you but do you think you could ride him in some classes today?" November asked looking at him hopefully. "The judges wont let me ride more than three horses and I alread have 3 that I have to ride, Jupiter is alread entered and my dad wants you to ride him." She explained hoping he would, him and Jupiter would make a amazing team together.

"That's part of the reason." Carter lead Ash and Aspen out of the barn and towards his favorite trail. "There's a clearing about a mile and a half ahead. There's this little stream that flows through it and an old willow tree hangs over it." He said over his shoulder. It was the best place for him to think and just be alone with Thunder.

Isabelle stopped a couple isles down and looked at a beautiful Brandenburger mare. Her roan coat was very shiny and she wondered what chemicals and other crap was on her. Izzy sighed and went to Jason. "He's a beauty." She said, looking at the gelding.

Marcus' mouth fell open. "Are you serious?" He asked and dismounted Hades. "Of course I'll to ride him!" He smiled, amazed that her father had even thought of him. Surely there were more experienced riders? Still, Marcus wasn't about to start complaining.

"He sure is." Jason said nodding, he looked at the gelding one more time before walking down the isle again and looking at the other horses. He then walked down the isle with the western horses, the were mostly all the same, Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas. Looking at all the horses he didnt see one Friesian "Knight is really gonna stand out." He commented looking at Izzy.

"Thank you so much!" November said smiling, quickly texting her dad back. "Well I think we better start getting the horses ready." She said and grabed Zues, putting him away in his stall and putting the lunge things away.

Isabelle followed him to the Western stalls. "I know, he always does. A lot of people ask me if I am selling him though. It's the same answer every time." She couldn't think about parting with Knight. He really was her Knight In Shining Armor at the time, still is, and he would be hers forever.

Marcus nodded and took Hades. As he led the stallion back to his stall, he was very happy he had took Mystery out to the paddock that morning. Destiny had a weird way of doing things, that's for sure.

"Alot of people ask if I plan on breeding Gun." Jason said as he looked at a pretty little paint filly. "I've been thinking about it and actually looking at different stallions but I dont know if I should" He said with a sigh. He didnt know how Gun would take to it and he didnt want to force her into anything. "What do you think?" He asked looking at Isabelle, wanting her opinion.

November waited for Marcus to put Hades away before locking up the arena and walking out of the barn before locking that up too. She then headed tward the main barn and smiled as she walked to Sylus's stall, the big chestnut stallion had his head hanging over the stall door as if he had been waiting for November. "Hey there my handsome boy" She smiled and rubbed his head "you ready to go win some ribbons?" She asked and giggled as he lipped at her shirt.
