Jason gasped, pretending to be offended and then smiled, he checked his phone quickly and relaxed. He was worried about having to rush to get ready for the show but they still as a whole 4 hours left. "If you want we can put these guys in the padock for awhile and go look at the show setup and see the other horses." Jason sugested as he put Gun's tail in a wrap. "Theres a padock with no sand in it made especially for show days so the horses dont get dirty if you want to put them in there." Jace said and put some polo wraps on Gun.

"Now let you're self relax and bend youre knees a bit." November said as she hooked the lunge line up to Hades "When ever youre ready you can tell him to move, go how ever fast or slow you want to go." She said looking at Mark. She then grabed Zues and put him on the other side of the arena so Mark would have plenty of room.

Isabelle laughed. "Okay, acting is not something you should do." She looked at Knight and bit her lip. "Sure," she would deal with whatever mess his mane and tail became. "At least we don't get points off for a messy mane and tail during barrel racing." She smiled and patted Knight's shoulder. She put on his leg wraps.

Marcus bent his knees slightly and told Hades to walk. Once he was pretty used to the feeling, he told the stallion to trot. A few moments later, they were cantering. Mark smiled and slowed him back down.

Jason laughed at Izzy's remark and clipped on Gun's lead, stroking her neck he smiled to himself. He knew he could trust Gun and no matter what happened today, they would try hard and give it their all. "I wish I could say the same about hunter jumping." Jason sighed looking at Gun's mane. It was braided and folded into neat, even balls on the top of her neck and her tail was combed and shiny. When Isabelle had finnished with Knight, Jason led Gun out of the barn and to the padock which was empty at the moment.

"You did way better than me!" November smiled as she watched Mark "I fell off atleast a dozen times." She said rembering all the ice packs and icey hot she had gone through. "Now try going from sitting to standing while Hades is cantering. It's actually easier than starting off standing, you just have to concentrate." She said smiling looking at Marcus. She was really surprised at how good he was doing considering they had only been riding for about 45 min.

Isabelle put Knight's lead on and followed Jason. "You guys will do fine. I hope the schedules line up right so I can come and watch." She had been to some competitions where the English and Western ones were held at the same time.

Marcus nodded and blocked out the world again. He told Hades to go into a canter and stayed seated for two paces and stood up. Next thing he knew, he was laying in the sand. "Well, that was fun." He said sarcastically as he leaned up.

Jason nodded and opened the padock gate, leading Gun in he unhooked her lead and watched her walk away. She was always on her best behaviour durring a show, Jason didnt know what made he know to behave but he was happy she did. He then walked out of the padock and shut the gates before waiting for Isabelle, he was hoping to see her ride for real, he wasnt used to watching western so he wasnt sure what to look for but it was still cool to watch.

November brought Hades back to a walk quickly and ran over to Marcus "Are you okay?" She asked quickly and helped him up, brushing off his back where the dirt covered his shirt. "Im sorry, maybe that trick is a bit harder than I thought." She muttered as she finnished brushing Marks's back off. She watched Hades walk over behind her and nudge Mark gently, his ears pushed back and his head lowered, looking up at Marcus as if he was trying to say sorry.

Isabelle led Knight into the paddock. The stallion tossed his head and trotted through the gate. She was glad he seemed eager to go, since he sometimes shied before a show. He pawed at the ground a couple times, then began to graze. Izzy closed the gate and walked to Jason. "Let's go check out the competition." She said with a smile.

Marcus shook his head. "Nah, I'm fine." But he rubbed his shoulder anyway, the same one he fell on when Mystery missed the jump. "It's okay, Hades." He rubbed the Percherons muzzle. "No, I want to try it again." He wasn't going to quite because of a little fall. Rolling his shoulders and taking a deep breath, he mounted Hades again.

Jason smiled and looked at Gun one more time, before grabbing Isabelle hand and setting off tward the show office. "You excited?" He asked looking over at Isabelle. He knew he definatly was, he loved being in the show ring, it was the only time he really like have attention. Him and Gun had alot of classes to do that day and he was even in some night classes but there were lots of breaks between classes where he would have time to watch Izzy as long as their classes wernt at the same time.

November nodded, and watched him carefully to make sure he really was okay. When she saw that he had no problems walking or mounting she relaxed slightly. He was okay, she remembered once when she was standing on both Zeus and Hades and they were cantering. She fell but she fell right inbetween them and she ended up getting kicked/steped on in the gut, she didnt know which it was because it happened so fast but she did rememeber that she couldnt stand. She ended up clutching her stomach on the ground for about a hour before her dad came and took her to the hospital. In the end she was lucky she didnt have internal bleeding but she did end up with 3 broken ribs and a he** of a bruise.

Isabelle smiled and intertwined her fingers with his. "Kind of. Really nervous though." This years competition was a lot harder and more advanced than any of the shows she has been in. Knight and her worked all of their lives for this, but she still didn't think they were ready. She was, however, excited to see Jason jump. He had seen her ride, not to her full extent, but she had never seen him jump before.

Marcus told Hades to go into a trot and they stayed in that gait for a couple of minutes until his nerves went down. Then he asked for a canter. For two strides, he stayed seated. On the third, he rose again. This time, he kept his heels down and spread his arms to keep his balance. A smile crept onto his face when he didn't end up laying in the dirt.

"Just noticing that, huh?" Carter asked sarcastically. He leaned against the counter while taking a long drink. "Nope, no lessons for today. Today's the competition for most of the students here. We can go for a ride." He grabbed an apple from the bowl for Thunder before walking out of the kitchen with her.

Ash ran out the door in a swift motion. "Slow poke!" She called out while she was running to the barn.
