Jake looked at her. "Amber dies." He moved away from her a little, and hung his head down low.

Casey gasped, " Oh..." She said looking at him and then back at the ceiling. She turned her body, her back facing him now. She wasn't mad at him at all, she just was trying to process all of this. " Am I in danger?" She asked him slowly.

Jake shook his head. "No." He looked her. He thought she didn't want anything to do with him anymore. Why would she? He was a trained killer. Who would want that? He stood up slowly.

Casey sat up in the bed, " Where are you going?" She asked scared. She wanted him to snuggle with her and be right next to her. She was happy she wasn't in danger, but she was super worried about Amber.

Jake sighed. "I don't know Casey. I can understand why you would be scared, or if you don't care anymore. That's why i didn't want to tell you. Now i messed everything up." Jake said sadly.

Casey pulled her legs out from the covers and sat on the edge of the bed looking up at him. " Why would I be scared or mad at you? You didn't mess anything up, I love you the same amount I did before." She said looking up at him with her sparkly green eyes.

Jake sighed and smiled a little. "Casey, i love you. I don't want anything to ocme between us again." He hugged her gently.

Casey stood up, " Same." She said with a smile hugging him back. " I promise nothing too big will get in between us! I will love you forever and always." She said putting her hands on his neck pulling his head close.

Jake winced a little from the pain in his side. He smiled and nodded.

Casey felt him flinch, " What's wrong?" She asked. She set her hands on the cut not knowing she did.
