Jake smiled a litte. "I got called in to work."

Casey sighed and looked up at the ceiling, " Why can't you tell me..." She said with a small whiney voice.

"DOn't whine and i might tell you." Jake smiled and turned on the news. It was talking about some drug dealer who took another drug dealers money. The first was found dead, not far from where Casey and Jake were staying, he quickle turned the t.v off.

Casey looked at the TV, " what was that about?" She asked seeing him turn it off right away before she could really hear anything. She looked at him, then rolled over on her stomach, " I can't do anything." She joked.

Jake looked at her. "It was nothing. What do you mean babe?" He asked.

" I can't watch tv, or know what your job is. I feel like a little kid." Casey said jokingly. She looked at the head bored and sighed, then looked at him.

Jake sighed a little. He hugged her softly. "I would tell you, but i don't want you to hate me, or be scaed of me..."

Casey paused for a moment, " Why would I hate you... or be scared of you?" She asked now wanting to know more. " Now you have to tell me!" She said.

Jake pulled back and sighed. "Around the time I left Amber, I got into some sort of trouble. These people threatend to kill me sister unless i did what they said. I had to take some training courses, but caught on quickly. I owe my life, and Ambers to some guy i have never even met! He calls me and tells me where to go and who to kill..." Jake said, tears in his eyes.

Casey wasn't sure what to say, she wasn't mad of course, and wasn't scared of him, but scared of other people. " So you have to do what they say, or you die?" Casey asked him as she tried to comprehend what he was saying. what did I get myself into? she asked herself.
