"Great idea." Kate smiled and took his arm as they started walking down the street. He seems nice, she thought to herself. She hadn't eactly met anyone yet, so this was fun.

Derick walked down the beach with his surf board under his arm. He waded out to the water and waited for a good wave. He had a gift that he could sense good waves coming.

"I actually work at Steak n' Shake, but that's about the only place I know how to get to." DJ said as they walked. "And that's not all that fun."

Arge brushed her hands on her greasy jeans, letting down her hair and shaking it out. She was sweaty, tired, and ready to go home. She waved at all the other guys there, being the only girl, and yelled good night. They repeated it back to her, and she jogged off the parking lot and onto the sand.
