I nodded, "Yes, that can get you classed as a total nerd." I grinned, I looked at her sparkling hypnotic eyes and my smiled faded to a look of contentment. Just lying next to her... It was just something that'd clicked the first time I ever saw her.

I shook my head, "It is truly a compliment." I chuckle in my British accent. I looked down at her smiling face and without even thinking I kissed her, closing my eyes and lingering for a while before pulling away. I didn't even realise that I'd done it until I felt my cheeks flare up. I got off of the hammock and stood up.

Her eyes widened, but she didn't stop him, once he rose up and away from her she couldn't help but think.. why?. Finally after many awkward moments Riley spoke up, "Um.. Graham.." she said still wrapping her head around it, "I um.. I don't think I feel the same way.. like that.." she finally said, though was in a whisper.

My heart sank but I knew that would be her answer. "I know, I'm sorry." I shook my head and walked away, "I'm sorry." I whispered walking away. That's why I remained quiet, I fell too quickly. I started running back to my room and slammed the door shut behind me. I sat against the door and breathed out.
