There is a universal truth we all have to face, whether we want to or not; everything eventually ends.
As much as I've looked forward to this day, I've always disliked endings. Last day of summer, the final chapter of a great book, parting ways with a close friend.
But endings are inevitable, leaves fall, you close the book. You say goodbye.
Today is one of those days for us. Today we say goodbye to everything that was familiar, everything that was comfortable. We're moving on.
But just because we're leaving, and that hurts, there's some people who are so much a part of us, they'll be with us no matter what. They are our solid ground. Our North Star. And the small clear voices in our hearts that will be with us … always.

It's senior year; you're last year in this town before you move on to bigger and better things. Or maybe you'll stick around; look after family, get a job and stay. Either way, you're moving on.
You have you're whole life ahead of you. You can go to college, or university. Get a job. Have a family. And have one hell of a good time doing it. But you'll probably always look back and wonder what would have happened if you had done things differently. Or if you had stayed with your family instead of leaving them behind. But we can't change the past. We can only make ourselves a better future. Live in the here and now.
Sure, some people say that high school is the worst time in your life; but you better make the best of this year. You think that you have all the time in the world. But the truth is; you don't.

Anyway, enough with the sappy stuff. As mentioned above; it's senior year. The last year you'll probably ever spend in this school. How will you spend your time? Hanging out with friends? Weekend parties? Or stuck at home with your head in a book? Just try and make the best of it.
You might find happiness, or love or maybe even yourself. That's what your teenage years are for anyway. If we didn't have them; we'd be a mess.

Like in most high schools; there are the groups. Cliches, if you will. There are the populars, the jocks, the nerds, the delinquants and the loners. Anyway, there will be plenty of school events on through the year that you can attend or ditch. The two events that you'll probably look forward to the most, though are probably prom and graduation. Yeah, those two are definitely dates for your calendar.
You'll probably send some applications away to various colleges or universities. But will you get in? That's a pretty tough thing to go through; rejection and acception.
It's kinda the same in relationships, and most teenagers go through them, don't they? There are players and keepers, but it'll probably take a while before you can make the difference between them.

personality | nicole is a bundle of contradictions, so it is pretty rare when someone knows her well enough to predict what she'll do next. but that doesn't mean she's in control of all these changes. not always, anyway. everyone has their flaws.
this young woman can be described with a few words; smart, fierce and kind.
despite how she may seem, she spends a lot of time on her academic work. but she's pretty smart without all that. nicole can hold her own in an argument, using her rapier wit and knowledge of human behaviour to her own advantage. she enjoys winning as much as the next person, that doens't make her competitive. she is willing to admit when she is wrong. even though it might not be very often. she knows how to act around people, no matter their attitude; an ability that has gotten her to where she is today. it isn't a rare occurence when someone doesn't like her, but she'd like to think that a lot of people like her. that makes her feel a little safer, and more confident. not that she needs a confidence boost.
nikki isn't fragile though. she can keep herself together, and fight back. seduction is an art that she has 'perfected' over the years. she's spent most of her life travelling from place to place, and has used her looks to her advantage whenever she needs to. and she has the ability to pull it off. boys are pretty easy to maipulate when a girl is involved, and nicole tends to use this to her advantage.
description | nicole is definitely the type to make you look twice; once to see her, and the second time to really admire how she looks. she knows she looks good and uses it to her advantage, whenever she feels it necessary. this young woman has the face, the body and the legs to look very sexy no matter what she wears. but it's not as if she's drop dead gorgeous; she has her flaws. like everyone else on this planet. no matter how attractive she is, nikki isn't always available, although she does tend to flirt a lot. but not in that desperate way that makes some people cringe. she's more like an artist.

Alaska embodies many personality traits. This blonde girl is very self-centered. She thinks that she is better than anyone else in the world. This trait gets her in trouble a lot, because she never wants to think that someone else's problem is more important than her own. She is seen as someone without any empathy since she cannot put someone else first for even one second to feel bad about a problem that is going on in their life.
Outgoing is a trait that you would hear if you asked someone to describe Alaska. If she sees a new student or a cute boy, she does not hesitate going up to them and striking up a conversation. People who are more shy than her would say she was making a fool of herself, but Alaska thinks otherwise. She prefers to be the first person to talk to a new kid, but she will only, and I mean only talk to them if she feels they could become popular.
The way the girl carries herself tells a lot about the personality burning inside of her. She is a confident being, walking with her head up and her chest out. Many people see her as snobby, but she just defines her self as confident. When people look at her, they would usually stay away because she looks like she could be a total b*tch. And that's true, to an extent.
Alaska just hates stupid people. If you walk up to her and ask her a stupid question or tell her something about a topic she doesn't care about, you will be glared at or snapped at. That is one thing that this girl doesn't tolerate. Once she gets angry, there is nothing stopping her from lashing out at you. She's never violent with actions, but she's violent with words. If someone upsets her, she will bring up every wrong thing they've ever done in their life to blow it back up in their face with no mercy. Also, she is known as one to start vicious rumors about people that are believable and easily spread because of her popularity status. She will also do the same if anyone ever gets between her and her boyfriend.
Greedy is another word that comes to mind when people think of Alaska. This girl wants a lot of things, and she usually gets all of them. This is another way she can be manipulative, because she'll beg and plead until someone agrees to buy her whatever she wants. Not al of these things are things you can buy, she also manipulates people and especially boys into being her friends and boyfriends. It's an unhealthy trait but its her nonetheless.
The last personality trait that Alaska embodies is creativeness. Even though she isn't that bright, she sure is crveative. Her favorite classes at school are photography and art, since she gets to express her own thoughts. Fashion is also a big part of Alaska's creative spew, and she loves to play around with different outfits, styles and colors.
