Rowan sat crisscross applesauce in front of Lighters. "I told you that you were the best friend ever. which you are, but we kissed and we get embarrassed around each other and we always have awkward moments. I don't know what it means!" he walked and lay his head in her lap.

Aldrin glared at the loud boy before closing his hood for good. "I think i'm just gonna go in." he said, letting himself turn and begin walking away.

Lighters blushed a bit, looking down at him. "W-well, I might have.. developed something I guess..like, I don't know.." She smiled a bit, trying not to act awkward. I don't want to upset him again, no..not again, she thought to herself, running her hands gently though his hair. She didn't realize it was this soft till now. She brushed it out of his face, looking deeper into his cloudy blue eyes. "Like, you know, I guess a crush. I don't really know how to explain this..You're really the only person I've ever spoken to besides my parents. I don't even know how to feel when I tell you that I like you," she said, smiling down at him. "Ha, so there it is! I like you," she said, smiling. "I don't see why people think it's so difficult.."

Rowan relaxed as he felt her hand running through his hair and he smiled. This is hoe he wanted it to be. He perked up when she said she liked him and his heart swelled. He wrapped his arms as best he could around her waist. "I like you too." He replied happily. "You're right. It's not that hard. Mabye its easy because you know you're saying it to the right person." He murmured.

Lighters smiled down at him, looking at him again. "Yeah, I guess it is," she said softly. She let her thumb graze lazily along his jawline, and she bent down slowly, looking into his eyes for a moment. She smiled. "Can we try again? That first kiss was horrible, I'm sorry," she giggled, looking down at him.

Rowan got goosebumps as she traced his jawline and his cheeks flushed, his jaw dropping open. "Hey! it couldn't have been that bad! it was my first time." he added as if it was important.

Lighters smiled. "It was my first time too, but you didn't take a breathe. Let's be prepared this time, pretend the other one didn't happen, and do it right. Okay?" She laughed, running her hand though his hair again. She leaned closer, so that they were half an inch away from each other.

Rowan crossed his arms and stuck out his lower lip, pouting. "You're the one that kissed me." he grumbled and stuck his tongue out. "No air... No breath she says..." he ranted a little more before going quiet and uncrossing his arms. he pulled his lip back in slowly and stared back at Lighters.

Lighters lowered her eyelids, smiling. "Well, then I hope you took a breath this time," she whispered. She bent down, pressing her lips against his gently.

At the last second, Rowan caught some air. he was completely ready this time and but it still made him all warm and fuzzy inside. his heart swelled and his eyes closed happily.
