Colby grinned at the girl who took a seat at his table, he was parcially stunned, but quickly got over it. "Hey, I'm Colby, new here, too." He told her with a slight nod. "I like your name," he told her with a simple smile. His gaze studied her, about his age, thirteen, fourteen, wavy, rich brown hair, she was pretty. He glanced down ast the table, studying it before glancing around the roo, checking the door as another girl walked in and went to the counter. "You in grade seven?" He asked her, a hint of curiousity in his voice. He unwrapped half of his cupcake and sel-consiously took a reasonable sized bite out of the white fluffy batter with pieces of colorful stuff, that looked like confetti. He licked his lips, allowing the tasty fkavor to fill his mouth, his mouth watered just at the thought of another bite. He looked back up at the girl, switching his full, nearly full, attentin back to the girl, also known as Arianna.

I noticed a boy walk his blue roan mare into the stables. His horse was gorgeous and Dare thought so too because he neighed at the mare. I smile and continued to brush him as he stands still. I finished and rub his forehead then muzzle. The guy apparently named Bishop walked over to a group i noticed. Why on earth does no one ever notice me?! Like am i a ghost on earth or something?! My wish is to actually be noticed for once!

After a little debating, Justin decided to go check out the stables. Jase wasn't much of a rider, but he would like to learn. He'd ridden horses before, his Mom had entered him in riding lessons at a ranch in California after he'd enrolled at Canterwood. Justin's horse there was named Mickey. Mickey was a black Dutch Warmblood, he was a sweet horse. Justin wasn't much of a competetive rider, he actually just really liked to ride and spend time with the horses, to make a connection with an animal that was unlike any other animal.
As he was walking to the stables, he met a girl leading a white horse that looked to be a thoroughbred warmblood cross.

Jase smiled kindly at the girl and took his hand out of his pocket to wave at her. Jase blushed and tried to hide it, he was just a tad shy at the moment, talking to a girl as pretty as this one out of the blue. But, they were going in the same direction and it would be super awkward to go to the same place and not talk, so.. "Hi," he began, "My name is Justin." He figured he might as well say, "But you can call me Jase if you want." He ran a hand through his tousled hair a bit nervously and smiled.
Oh gosh, that sounded stupid. Where was he going with this?

Ari grinned at Colby. "Thank you, it's Italian," she said as a response to his compliment about her name. Arianna tried to keep from blushing, she got a little bit shy that way when people said nice things to her. "Yes, I'm a seventh grader," she said. This almost reminded her of going to school back home, her home school actually didn't start until three days from now, but she could only imagine the conversations. "Are you a seventh grader too?" Ari asked Colby with a cute little smile.

- - - → Dellavague rolled her eyes teasingly. Almost immediately after, she unconsciously started braiding her golden-brown auburn hair into a small braid. Her delicate, but calloused-from-riding fingers weaved the locks of hair in and out. Her eyes sparkled as she grinned at Effel's excitement over the bathroom.
"Well, of course we would have a bathroom in our room. Wouldn't want to share a bathroom with the entire Hawthorne dorm, would you?" Della laughed, her eyes crinkling at the corners.
And for the decorating...
Hmm...
An area rug would be needed to cover the hardwood floor. And Della could most definitely add some luxurious privileges to their room. Her parents had already gotten her a flat-screen TV and a Blue-Ray DVD player as a sort of Welcome-Back-to-Canterwood present. It would be coming any day now through shipment, and she was sure Effel would like it. And she could also possibly order a coffee table. A microwave and a small side table would be nice too. Oh, there were so many things to do and talk about!
"Want to unpack first and then discuss decorations?" Della put a purple and white spiral notebook on her bare bed, the title written out neatly in her flowy handwriting. It said Room Decorations.

Ari decided that she would go back into the Sweet Shoppe, maybe take some pictures in there. She needed to make some friends, so she could have people to take pictures with. Plus, she loved the way it felt in there. So.. sweet. She grinned to herself at that thought, and walked back towards the Sweet Shoppe. She opened the door and heard the little bell, signaling her entrance. Arianna took a deep breath in, inhaling the cool, sweet smell of ice cream and the warm, tantalizing aroma of the baking brownies. She wondered if students were allowed to work here. If they were, Ari would totally pick this up as an on-the-side job. She would love it here. Ari scanned the room, just looking, when a boy eating a red velvet cupcake, sitting at a table by himself, caught her eye. Ari decided that she would go introduce herself. He looked nice. Ari walked up to Colby, and pulled out a chair next to him. "Hi," she said, smiling charmingly, "Do you mind if I sit here? My name is Arianna. I'm new here," she said.

For a moment, it was completely still and quiet at the stables. A slight frown crossed my face, dimpling in my forehead as I looked around. I rested my hand on Sky's withers as I led him towards ... Whow knew where, trying to find someone to help me out. I had no idea where Sky's stall was. I shrugged a little, but stopped dead when I saw a boy walking towards Sky and myself. A small smile wanted to appear on my face, but I didn't have the guts to show it. I listened when the boy introduced himself, and I rested my weight on my one leg and put my free hand on my hip, finally managing to smile a little. I was shy, as always, but kept myself under control. "Nice to meet you, uh ... Justin." I mentally face-palmed myself for sounding so stupid. I wasn't good with communicating with boys, so I decided to rely on Justin to keep the conversation going. Then I remembered that I should introduce myself, too, just before the awkward silence fell down on us like a thick heavy blanket. "My name is Anastasia, and this is my horse. Sky is his name." That's a little better, I thought to myself, smiling a little while I patted Sky affectionately on his muscular neck. He bobbed his head when he heard his name. I looked back at Justin, tilting my head slightly ... He seemed interesting, but I've learnt to never judge a book by its cover ...

With my feet almost slugging through the dust and dirt on the ground, I wandered around the stables, wondering what I should do. It was a beautiful day, I have come to realise, and everything seemed to shine with brilliance. The horses' coats glistenened in the sun, the pool's water reflected the sun's light, the sun flowers reached up as if they wanted to touch the sky and the sun ... It was like the sun made everything look and feel good. Without the sun, the world would be dull, dark, hopeless, scary, cold ...

I plonked myself down on a random hay bale and sat there for a moment, contently munching on a piece of hay which I soon realised didn't taste that good. I spat it out, right at the moment when a blonde-haired girl walked towards me. I cleared my throat a little, wanting to face-palm myself for my manners. Spitting stuff out was not good manners, I knew, but I tried to forget about it and just continued sitting there on the bale of hay, watching the girl. Her hair was almost a white-blonde shade in the shade, so I could just imagine how it looked under the sun. I smiled at her a little, slightly raising an eyebrow. "Hello," was all I managed to say.

Alaska headed into the barn, after finishing unpacking her stuff in her dorm room. She had everything set up perfectly so she could fine everything when she needed it. She headed to the barn so she could check on her gelding, Cobra.
Alaska found a few people in the barn and she debated on talking to them but then she saw a cute guy sitting on a hay bale in the barn. When he spat something out she covered her mouth so she didn't giggle in front of him. Boy, was he cute...
Alaska was almost lost in her own thoughts she almost missed his introduction and greeting. She but her lips before stopping in front of him. "Hi, I'm Alaska," she said with a smile.

I nearly chuckled when I saw the girl's bubbly actions and reply. She seemed sweet, and I had to admit that she was very pretty. I returned her smile comfortably, not feeling awkward around her whatsoever. I nodded when she told me her name, letting my elbows rest on my knees as I sat on the hay bale, gazing up at her. "I'm Havi. Well, Alexander ... Uhm," I thought for a moment, trying to think which name I should give her to call me. I wish my parents would've just given me a simple, complex name. I then nodded, chuckling a little. "Yes, call me Alexander. Or Alex. Or Havi. However you like." I laughed slightly, watching Alaska. What a unique name.

Alaska tilted her head when the boy seemed to hesitate on giving her his name. She was thankful thy her parents have her a short name that couldn't be made into a nickname. It was unusual but she enjoyed it. She would hate to have the same name as someone.
"Well its nice to meet you, Alexander," she said with a smile, her white teeth showing through her glossed lips. She wanted to look good for the first day so she was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a cute top from her favorite store. She had a pair of vans on because she would never go to the barn with flip flops on.
Just then she heard the familiar sound of her horse's neigh. He was in stall four, not too far from where Alexander was sitting. "Cobra!" she called and then walked over to the white geldings stall to pat him. "Which one of these beauts is yours?" she asked the boy.
