Lucien and Six
Luce stood in front of his mare's stall, watching her with calm blue eyes. Dark Light in turn watched him with light chocolate brown eyes that burned with fire that was just waiting to be released. They stood there, looking at each other for the longest time, silently, before Dark Light nickered. She stepped forward and nuzzled Luce's shoulder gently, then blew hot air in his face. He smiled, but didn't laugh like he used too. He didn't laugh anymore. Not very often anyways. He didn't talk neither, not that it mattered. He stuttered when he was nervous, and his voice was no stronger than a loud whisper. He let out a sigh and stroked her mane, before he turned and left the stable.
He headed back to his dorm and stood outside the door cautiously. Eventually he inserted the key, turned, and opened the door. He managed to get inside, shut the heavy door, and lock it, before his roommate, Six, attacked him in a flash of black, neon green, blue, and white-blonde. Both boys tumbled to the hallway floor, Six sitting on top of his best friend.
"Hey Luce!" Six said, his blue eyes burning under the white-blonde hair. He was wearing a neon green shirt with black tribal markings, and navy blue skinny jeans, per usual. He was the complete opposite of Luce, who was wearing faded blue jeans, a black shirt, and a grey zip-up hoodie. Luce kissed his friend's forehead before he pushed him off.
"What? No hello. Come on, just one word? One word for the entire day?" Six begged, laying on his back in the hallway while Luce stood up. Luce looked at him, his black hair covering his blue eyes.
"No." He murmered, in his whispered voice.
Six smiled and shot to his feet. "Ha! You talked. One point for me." With that he danced off towards his room. Luce stood behind in the hallway and rolled his eyes at his friend's excitement over one word.
