- - - → "Actually, I have a nickname. Haha, my name's kind of complicated, so just call me Della," she smiled as she reached into a cardboard box and brought out a seashell pink scoop-neck shirt. It was ribbed and one of her favorites. That was the last of her winter clothes. Time for the summer stuff.
Della tossed the now empty box to the side to throw away later. She looked up at the stack of boxes, her sharp ocean-colored eyes eyeing which box had Summer Clothes written on it.
Aha!
Spotting the cardboard box, she brought it down on the floor, ripping it open and taking out pretty laced and non-laced tank tops, summer shorts, and flip-flops. She had a bunch of shoes ranging from ankle-strapped ones to simple sandals. In a small black-laquered box, she had sunglasses and summer jewelry stored. They included necklaces with ocean pendants, charm bracelets with seagulls, palm trees, and horses as charms. She also had another jewelry box with fall stuff and another box for her accessories. They included cute and sophisticated hats, belts, and gloves. It was actually a lot of stuff, as she realized now. Sometimes, she had no idea how many things she brought until she started unpacking.
As she finished off with her normal everyday clothes, she took out boxes and suitcases filled to the max with her riding stuff. Her wardrobe was already almost half full - with just fall stuff. She still had to hang up her summer clothes, and put away the accessories in the drawers. Another smaller wardrobe from PBT was coming soon. It was for her riding stuff; it had special shelves for helmets, whips, etc. And there were compartments for other stuff as well like boots. It was smaller than the closet Canterwood offered, but it was perfect-sized for her riding stuff. It was a pretty mahogany with dark-butter trimming along the bottom. A lot of deliveries were going to be sent to their room, she mused.

- - - → Davon smiled politely at both of them. He really wanted to make friends with people; a lot of his old ones from Canterwood moved away last year. However, he did know Dellavague, but she was a girl. Guys could do guy-stuff with guys. It was like an unwritten rule.
He nodded at Anastasia's horse; he - or she? he didn't know - was gorgeous.
"Your horse is beautiful," he complimented, grinning. "Do you know the breed? Oh, and name, please."
He smiled, playing with a lock of dark brown hair. The girl seemed shy; he didn't want to seem intimidating. He knew what it was like to be new. It was nerve wracking and horrible, to come to Canterwood and not know anyone.
He looked down at his Converse™ sneakers, shuffling his feet. He was wearing a dark navy blue sweater that had the sleeves pushed up, showing his toned-from-riding arms. He was wearing black breeches and tall boots. Davon didn't really pay much to what he was wearing though; it didn't matter as long as it was comfortable.
