"I.. Er.. Uh.." Gregory mumbled quietly, looking down at his notepad before heading a ringing sound that signaled someone had walked through the door. It was a couple together- Maybe in their thirties or so. They looked so happy together- Just the way they acted towards one another. He smiled gently to the two, motioning for them to follow him to a table. After they had been seated he spoke up, a cheery smile on his face. "Welcome to Sips & Sweets. What might I be able to get you two today?" Greg questioned politely. The woman seemed to ponder a moment while the man was quick on his order. "Just a regular coffee please. Nothing added." "And I'd like a green tea latte if it isn't too much trouble." they said one right after another. "Trouble? No of course not. I'll be right back with those for you guys-" Greg said before heading off to clip the new order to the list. He sat back down where he was, fixing his name-tag on his vest that had Gregory written neatly in cursive.
Dillon chuckled, a mischievous grin breaking out across his face. His blue eyes darted around, the light flickering off them only to make them shine more. "Eh. I wouldn't say friends. More like acquaintances." He spoke as he ran a hand through his golden brown hair. It was true- He wasn't great friends with the two but he still knew them well enough to know their names. "I'm not sure Faye. It seems I know all the ladies-" Dillon spoke sarcastically, pretending to pop the collar that he didn't have. Instead he adjusted the neck of his red tie before going to answer Ember's question. "Well I really don't know how it managed to fall off.." He shot back with a smirk evident on his lips.
