I quickly glanced up from breakfast as my brothers silent foot falls scuffed against the livingroom carpet. I was currently sitting on the couch, my feet propped up on the table as i munched on a bagel. I took the last bite and stood up, my icy blue gaze meeting my brothers identical eyes. I nodded and headed for the door, my aqua curls flying out behind me like a river of silk. I glanced outside. Snow, again. Sighing i picked up my keys and walked outside, hopping lightly onto my motercycle. Yes, i owned a motercycle. I won it in a game of poker. Anyways, i revved the engine and raced off, heading for Sips & Sweets, which was, obviously, where i worked.

I shuffled into the living room, still half asleep as i watched Ember stand up. Her eyes met mine and i had a sudden thought about how we were twins, yet our eyes were the only things that looked the same. A small smile tugged at my lips as i pondered this, my thoughts innturupted only by the click of the door closing, followed by the icy draft from the wind outside. I shvered and followed my sisters path out the door, into the freezing cold winter. Glancing down the road, i could just barely make out Ember as she rode off on her motercycle. I sighed and walked forwards to the edge of the street, hailing a taxi. Inside, the temperature was only slightly warmer than outside, causing me to tug my jacket tighter around me, my shoulders hunching as if to protect my ears form the cold. Not that it would help much. Five minutes later i was walking through the front door of Sips & Sweets. I sat down and glanced towards the counter, Ember was already hard at work.
