Where chaos looms, the Few emerge. Marines move toward the sounds of tyranny, injustice and despair—with the courage and resolve to silence them. In this RP, you are one of the few brave warriors of the United States Marine Corps. You rise through the ranks as you accomplish military feats and excell at the brutal training required of these elite soldiers. Will you strive to reach the rank of General, or will you be satisfied with simply Private? Will you serve your country on your own, without other's companionship, or will you form friendships with your fellow Jarheads? Maybe even find romance along the way? Choose your path, Marine. Semper Fidelis.
Rules
-This is semi-lit, without despute. That means you must post at least three lines in each post, for every character you have. You must use correct capitalization, spelling, grammar, and punctuation at all times, even in the forms to sign up(OOC is okay). Occasional mistakes or writer's block every now and then are understood, but I don't want you using that excuse too often.
-Fill out each part of the form in complete sentences,preferrably at least three sentences for each section. No "will RP it out" or "I don't wanna talk about it" in any parts.
-If someone asks for a recap, please give it to them.
-If you're going to be gone for a certain amount of time, please tell me ahead of time so you can stay in the roleplay.
-If your characters swear, please star them out like this. S**t
-Don't be detailed about fights, and if your characters are going to do "it", fade to black.
-No killing anyone's characters. Marines do not just go around killing each other, no matter how much they may dislike them.
-Romance and drama are encouraged!
-You can have as many characters as you'd like, but you must keep them all active.
-Keep everything PG 13. Don't be too detailed about killings or anything like that.
-None of your characters can be each other's crush,boyfriend/girlfriend, or spouse.
-There's no such thing as a perfect Marine. Keep that in mind.
-No mary/gray sues, godmodding, or powerplaying.
-Please think before you choose your rank. Someone who is eighteen could not possibly already have a rank as high as General, or anything like that.
-Keep it realistic.

Zane has a fiery temper that can erupt out of nowhere and tends to lead to violent fights breaking out, most of which he wins. He loves to fight and is extremely good at it due to his height and the strength he gained through his years working on his father's farm and in military school. He's ruthless once his anger takes over, and he never backs down or stops until he feels whoever he's fighting has been hurt enough. His temper often causes him to hurt those he cares about, whether physically or mentally. His history full of lost loved ones has made him bitter and rather secluded form others. He tends to push people away, despite his feelings towards them. He's very loyal and protective of those he cares about, although he rarely admits his care for others, and will often act without thinking due to his bad temper. He is rather stubborn and rarely changes his opinions or sides on matters, even when faced with undeniable evidence in favor of the other side of the situation. He can be aggressive for no reason, or friendly and funloving, just depending on his mood. He thinks very highly of himself, and can be extremely arrogant, from calling himself a "handsome devil" to saying his muscles are sexy. He can be quite a player at times, and can be very charming if he wants to. Zane also has a rowdy and reckless side. He has been known to drink, despite being underage, and often did things just for the gruesome scars they would result in. His scars are like trophies to him, and he's immensely proud of each one, often showing them off.

Zane was born and raised on his father's farm in Pulaski, Georgia. He had two brothers, one older, and one younger. His mother died giving birth to his younger brother, so Zane grew rather upset for quite a while afterward, but knew he had to stay strong. He and his brothers had a fairly normal life for anyone living in a tiny farm town. They helped their father with the work, growing strong and hardy throughout the years. Zane had a great bond with his brothers. When his older brother turned eighteen, he left to join the Marines, leaving Zane, then thirteen, with their five year old brother. They found out about a year and a half later that their older brother had died in war. Zane grew very distant and bitter after losing his brother, his best friend, and began getting in fights, vandalizing property, and generally getting in trouble. He did enough to make a point, yet not enough to be taken away from his remaining brother, who he had become extremely protective over. But when his younger brother was killed in a car accident, he grew very violent and aggressive, and his criminal activity grew more extreme. He no longer cared about the consequences, believeing he had nothing left to live for, no reasons to behave. His father sent him to military school in an attempt to straighten him out, and Zane returned furious, but trained well. His relationship with his father was rather strained, and he joined the Mariens very soon after graduating.
Family:His mother and two brothers were all killed, and he has only his father elft. Their relationship is rather strained.
Job: He worked as a mechanic back home.
