---------------------//TWENTY QUESTIONS ALREADY, HUH?
"Sherry Alexandra
Stringfield"
"Twenty One."
"We're getting
a bit ridiculous here,
don't you think?"
Her hair might be short, but that's about the only vaguely masculine feature that Sherry might have. Indeed, Sherry looks quite feminine, although she's not incredibly curvy. It's probably more of her build [which is severely lacking], along with her rather regal aura.
WHAT, CAN'T YOU TELL WITHOUT ASKING?//----
"Not really
my thing."
my thing."
She never really got into tattoos. Sherry feels like when she's older she'll regret having them or something, and anyway they're always easy to mess up. And when they're messed up they stay there, unless you pay more money to get them removed. And she'd hate to think what the pieces of colored skin would look when she's old and wrinkly. She has her ears pierced but almost never wears earrings [and even then she only does to keep her ears from healing].
"It's white and it's
short. What else can I say?"
short. What else can I say?"
Her hair is actually naturally white - blonde, much to the shock of many of her peers. A lot of time people think she dyed it or something, but she was born this way. Her parents were at a loss, that's for sure. They had no idea where the gene came from [on their part, her father had red hair and her mother brown]. A few years ago Sherry decided to cut most of her locks off because she was taking part in a new exercising regimen, and her hair always got in her way. Annoyed, she finally took some shears to it, and she's been loving the convenience and ease of having shorter hair ever since.
"I'd call them
gray."
gray."
Sherry's eyes are more of a very gray shade of blue. While they'll rarely reveal any prominent shade of blue, in the right light they'll actually look nearly colorless, or at the very least a very light gray. They're usually filled with a rather sarcastic look.
"I'm either
5'7'' or 5'8''. It's been
a while since my last
check up."
5'7'' or 5'8''. It's been
a while since my last
check up."
Standing at five feet and eight inches [5'8''], Sherry is a relatively tall girl, but that's about the only thing that's stunning about her. Her more impressive feature, she feels, are her longer legs, which probably are the main contributor to her height. Her mother is now about two [2] inches shorter than Sherry, although her father still stands at a daunting six foot five [6'5''].
"Well, I'm
probably going to get
punched in the face
if I say I'm fat -- which
I know I'm not -- but
I'm not exactly
ninety pounds, either."

Sherry is quite thin [looking rather unhealthily so for her height, some times], shoulders bony and sloping down from her long neck. While it may seem that Sherry is mal-nourished, in reality she eats like a pig. Those who know her will recount with some amusement her bottomless stomach and light-speed metabolism. Yet somehow she only weighs around 132 lbs. She tends to get cold easily, as she has absolutely no insulating fat on her. Sometimes Sherry considers eating McDonalds for a week without exercise to see if she would gain a huge amount of weight, just for kicks.
"I look kind
of like a vampire,
I think. Like, I don't
tan. I don't even know
what it is."

tan. I don't even know

Sherry's got little appeal in terms of curvature, but she does have this regal presence that she gives off just by standing there. It's probably the hair. Or maybe the height. Or maybe just her attitude. In any case, from the get go it's clear she won't be easy to take advantage of.
She's got absolutely no muscle. What little stuff she has that's not skin is pretty much flab. She considers working out sometimes, but her laziness usually gets the better and she usually ends up eating a bag of chips, instead.
Her bone structure in the face isn't so bad. Her cheekbones are prominent, so it's not like her face is all flat and dull.
Her longest feature are her legs, which make up most of her height. Her arms are somewhat longer than they should be in proportion to her torso, but they're in such a way that they look aesthetically nicer and more elegant, not freakish and abnormal.
Her hands and feet are quite small, especially considering her height. The size of her hands especially frustrates Sherry, sometimes.
DEAR LORD,THIS ISN'T A THERAPY SESSION.
"Uh, I'm kind
of a jerk, to tell you the truth."
of a jerk, to tell you the truth."
Sherry will almost never do anything that she doesn't have to do. She'd rather stay home and read. This is also true when friends ask to go out to see a movie or something. Being quite introverted, Sherry prefers to stay inside and now deal with people. It's not to say she's a sociopath, it's just that going into large public places wears her out after a while, while some others seem to gain energy from being in social areas. Thus, Sherry usually gets tired just thinking about going to a mall or a move theater, so she usually tries to opt out. She doesn't hate hanging out with friends. She loves talking to them, and loves them dearly. It's just that she'd rather go to someone's house and chat about stupid stuff than go out and deal with others while shopping for something Sherry doesn't need.
Once you get over the initial punch in the face that Sherry's personality is, you'll see that Sherry is quite a loyal, and when the chips are down the gloves come off. If there's one thing that Sherry hates more than work, it's loosing. Her pride is one of the few things that probably drives her to do anything, anymore, such as arguing when you do anything that offends her integrity or legitimacy. The one thing she cares about is having people know what her true personality is before they go and judge her, or else she feels their view is biased and incomplete. But she doesn't really convey this thought very well.
As you might've guessed, Sherry is rather intelligent, which probably expands her pride into arrogance. She's well read and knows a wide array of random pieces of information. Her mental math is nothing to sneeze at, and her vocabulary isn't too shabby, but you can't really say she excels in anything per se.
Sherry is very stubborn. Rarely will she ever give up on something or admit that she was wrong--again, because of her pride. It'll take a lot for Sherry to verbalize that she was wrong, although she'll probably know that she was wrong a long time before she says it if your logic makes sense to her. Otherwise, she'll attack you with everything she's got until you admit you're wrong. It's always a thrill a minute with Sherry, which is naturally frustrating, sometimes.
Sherry is, believe it or not, capable of an odd tender moment, occasionally. She'll bring in cookies. She'll volunteer for night shift. These treats are usually few and far between, and everyone usually looks at each other in skepticism and wonder if Sherry was drunk or high or something. Really, though, Sherry is just doing it because she feels like it.
Her independence is another large facet about her. Sherry dislikes doing things because she's required to. She prefers to make decisions and carry on with actions knowing that it was by her choice. Sherry doesn't like having responsibilities to anything, which is why she also is not in a relationship. She has always been afraid that people would tie her down and smother her, ask her to go out with then when she didn't feel like it, ask her for favors. The entire thing would've been too much trouble for Sherry. She didn't really see what the point was. She also dislikes clingy people, which probably derives from her independence. Sherry doesn't like owing people anything, and she doesn't like people always sticking around her. In the end, she wants to know that she could do anything and no one would follow and bother her in the end.
"Eh, I
wouldn't say that it's
very interesting,
to tell you the truth."
wouldn't say that it's
very interesting,
to tell you the truth."
Because her adolescent years were completely fulfilled in Cleveland, Sherry says that it's the town that she mostly grew up in. She feels that from 13 on is the time when teens are finding themselves, like the Mid-Life Crisis. She grew up as a loud and vitriolic student at an all-girl's private school (which may also have contributed to the lack of boyfriend, which Sherry never felt a specific need for). She did well and was at the better half of her class, as were her closest friends. All in all, she was quite satisfied with her life. She had nothing much to complain about, and while sometimes she did blow up over nothing like most teenagers did, Sherry didn't whine very much. Her parents stayed together and she went to a good school. Her family was in a stable middle-class rank. Sherry had a baby sister (which tended to be one of her complaints now and again).

Sherry has the knack to get the hang of almost anything she tries, but she's far from being the best at them. She can carry a tune, but she's often slightly off key. She can write a novel, but there are always some plot holes. She can draw a person, but there are always a few discrepancies. In reality, Sherry is quite talented in rote memorization, and she's a very fast typer. Sherry also has the talent of screaming quite loudly when she wants to.
