(start of second lesson, green exercises. Everyone is at the replica village. Mr Edwards has told everyone what they'll be doing today)

(I believe that the green exercises are an outside activity, so the probability of them sitting down at a desk with pencils is under 35% I'm afraid. Very sorry)

I nod at the teachers words and I absorb what I was about to learn. I stand ready to learn ASL, and I smile happily, knowing if I DID have to talk to someone on a mission, I could use ASL, hopefully. I chuckle quietly, imagining myself on a mission, being lost for words when sent to talk to someone, and just random ASL signs flying out.

Mr Edwards looked at the rain and then back at everyone, particulary Sammi and Landon. "I appear to have left te worksheets out in the rain. Sammi and Landon, you will retrieve one." He pointed to the spire of a model church, a bit a plastic faintly was visible. "Sammi, you go up there." He then pointed to a muddy hole in the ground not to far away. "Landon, you go down there."

Sammi gritted her teeth and looked at the spire, it would be slippery to climb in the rain. She bent down and untied her shoes, bare feet would give her better grip even if she did freeze. Giving the teacher a smile, she trudged out into the rain with no shoes on, quickly the rain soaked through her clothes.

Giulietta pretended to inspect her nails, however she kept an eye on Sammi. The spire would be dangerous to climb and if her friend got hurt she may need to run for help. Or possibly even take over the task. Although she was scared of heights. She tapped her foot rhythmically on the ground, humming a tune in her head

Sammi pushed her hair back from her eyes, blinking away a rain drop that had got caught in her eyelashes. Her feet sloshed through the mud as she walked determinedly, she was not going to let the teachers have the satisfaction of her giving up. She got the the building and looked up it, the first part would be easier as it was stone with gaps but the second part would be hard. She began to climb up slowly, luckily this was one of her skills.

Giulietta turned to Mr Butler and Mr Edwards "Are you sure that's safe?" she asked in a bored tone, pointing to Sammi. She had to admit, she was a little disappointed that she hadn't been told to do anything, she got bored quickly. (wb. )

"No it's not, but while they do that everyone look through these," Mr Edwards said and Mr Butler handed everyone apiece of paper with the sign language on it. They were only for important things like 'Danger', 'Left', 'Guards', 'Abort mission' and one which, scarily, said 'Man down'.
