John blinked and nodded smiling " of course" he said " i am so sorry Annabeth, i should have been the one that asked you" he held out his hand and smiled.

Rose nodded and looked down at her Blue dress " yes" she replies while curtsying " my name is Rose" she says raising her eye line to him shyly " and you?" she asks blushing slightly.

John blushed very slightly and walked down to join the others in nearly starting dance. he let go of her hand and joined the line of men, smiling lightly at her.
