xxρeяsoиαlιтʏ; Adam has an intriguing, or quite complicated personality. Usually one to cause chaos then sit back and watch his handiwork, Adam comes across as a cold, emotionless, vicious, cut-throat person who doesn’t care about anyone or anything else. At least that’s what people see when they brush the surface. Full of smart-ass comments, slang that no one understands, and private jokes only he gets he’s constantly getting into trouble. Whether it’s with the lawmen, the guards, his allies, wandering merchants, even the odd ‘tough guy’ he meets up with, he’s always out to raise a little hell.
His rough appearance doesn’t help his situation either, dangerous flashing brown eyes, pale skin with a few varying tattoos, scars, burns and nearly shoulder length ragged black hair. Adam, is well, impossible to get to know. He keeps everything hidden and kept to himself though his skills with scaling buildings, thievery of all sorts, fist fights, knife fights, and bar brawls are no secret. Still, even if you manage to get to know him he might hold out on you, ‘keep you in the dark’ so to speak. He tends to lie about things, and hold people at distance. Mostly it was his upbringing. He learned to trust only himself, and those he knew he could one hundred percent depend on, which in the end only turned out to be his "brother" Jeremy..
Adam, even with his tough guy act towards authority, and his funny-man, smart-ass personality towards others doesn’t prevent his other emotions. Somewhat ‘weak in the mind’, Adam can easily go overboard on things, over exaggerate, and even his emotions and actions with go way overboard. You could almost call him bi-polar with frequent and varying mood swings he can go from totally calm, cool, and collected, to a burning inferno of anger and rage in less than a second. He tends to try and bottle up his emotions, and doesn’t like to depend on others or have others know what he’s thinking. Nearly a sociopath he knows what most people think before even they know. He can gauge a person’s personality, what they truly are, what they pretend to be, and everything just by observing their actions, speech patterns, looks, and multiple other factors.
He also isn’t shy to confront people or get right into their face, though he does usually give a few subtle warning before he explodes on you. Lean and short as he is, he may look weak but he is much, much stronger than you might guess. Years of physical exertion, and being raised as a member of the Black Hands he learned how to fight fast, and he learned how to fight well, with quick efficiency, that within a minute or less could leave his opponent bleeding out on the ground or out stone cold.
As for his job, well that’s something Adam takes pride in but keeps to himself for the most part. He's a dealer, he actually picked up the trade from his father. He's managed to keep it undercover for years, he started up when he was eleven. Nobody really knows how an eleven year old managed to keep a dealing operation going but it's how he makes his money, and he actually makes quite a bit selling the harder drugs to the junkies at steep prices. He's also made a habbit or breaking-and-entering once in a while to steal things for people, charging them quite a bit for it. Although he may look shady he's swift, decisive, and leaves no evidence behind. At least that's what he used to do, now he just survives with ease.
Adam may as well be that one person you always thought was going to grow up and go on a massive killing spree. His aggressive, defensive, behavior, the way he physically exerts himself and his emotionless penetrating gaze would usually keep people away from him. Though, it was mostly due to his upbringing and he lives by the motto; “Kill or be killed.” One might not think of Adam as the 'romantic' type and he usually isn't. He usually keeps his distance from people, holding them at bay to avoid physical or emotional pain on either side.
He's also immature; he's that one guy that talks slang, does stupid things, gets into fights, steals things and so on and so forth. He's never planned on making it to twenty, and plans to be dead before that ever happens. He's never wanted to ‘grow up’ and grow old and frail; “I'm here for a good time, not a long time.”
