On April 14th, 1912 Titanic hit the iceberg at 11:40 pm. A few hours later, the Wonderous ship sank beneath the icy cold waves, at 2:20 A.M. The lifeboates couldn't save everyone; only about 700 people survived. The rest perished either on the ship or in the 28 degree waters. 14 people were rescued out of the water and 6 survived. The rest of the 1,500 people froze to death.
