After the surgery, Matthew came out of the room in a wheelchair. He smiled at Lexi.

Lexi looked at him and smiled, wishing she could hug him. She walked over to him. "Hey, feeling alright?" she asked sweetly.

Matthew smiled.
"Always when you're close." he winked.

Lexi smiled and kissed his cheek, playfully messing up his hair. "Good to know," she said softly.

Matthew sighed.
"The bad news is only that I need to rest a lot the next week." he said.

"It's not that bad.... I'm so glad I get to be the first to see the new Matthew," Lexi said sweetly, gently grabbing the wheelchair and carefully pushing him down the hall.
