Lexi's eyes widened, feeling like a complete idiot. She got up quickly and walked over to Diego. "Knife, now," she ordered, trying to stay calm while she was in here.

[Komaniac]

"I mean, I knew you threw away the spinach." Matthew said sighing.

Diego shook his head. "No." he said to Lexi.

Lexi quickly stormed out of the room, loosing her cool and breaking down in tears. She walked down the halls and ran out the doors, headed for home.

Matthew sighed.
"Don't be upset, it's just spinach." he said softly before he turned to Diego.
"She fed the elephants without me, didn't she?"

Diego raised his eyebrow before he texted Lexi.
- He isn't aware of what we just talked about. He only thinks you fed the elephants secretly. Probably a side-effect of the painkillers-

Lexi sat on a bench, searching for something sharp in her pockets when as got a text from Diego. -He still knows. He's just too loopy to realize it. Once he is back to normal, he'll know what I did- she repliedz

Diego sighed as he got the text.
- Shame, I thought you really loved him. You aren't solving anything with running away and cutting yourself. And Matt knows nothing about painkillers. If we just deny hard enough after the surgery..."

After reading only the first sentence, Lexi screamed in frustration. "Thought I loved him? That little b*st*rd doesn't even know what love is! And if he keeps treating girls like this he never will!" she yelled, pacing back and forth.

Diego sighed as he looked at Matthew. He seemed sad.

"I made her upset." Matthew said softly.

Lexi continued on reading the text and started back toward the hospital. She needed him and she hoped he needed her.
