Lexi turned back once more and waved to Diego before walking down the street.

Diego ran after Lexi.
"Lexi. Wait." he said as he walked next to her, still holding his burning cigarette in his hand.

Lexi gulped. She knew he would notice her arm. Her sweater sleeve was almost completely soaked in blood. "Why should I?" she asked defiantly, still walking.

Diego sighed as he caught up with her, coughing a few times.
"Why shouldn't you?" he asked coughing.

"No reason..." Lexi lied, glancing at her wrist.

Diego followed her gaze, seeing her sleeve was covered in blood. He carefully lifted up her sleeve, seeing her arm. His eyes got wide.
"Lex. You aren't solving anything with this." he said.

Lexi screamed in pain and pulled her arm away. "Don't touch me... Please.." she begged, her eyes teary.

Diego put his hands in the air as a surrender. "I'm not doing anything you don't want me to do. Except for the smoking." he said.
"But don't tell me you just cutted yourself."

"I'm not saying anything..." Lexi said quietly, turning to continue walking.

Diego sighed.
"I'll stop with the smoking if you stop cutting yourself." he said.
