Matthew sighed as he stood up and gently hugged Lexi.
"I know you're lying." he whispered. "A quarter ago you told me you were starving."
He sighed as he slightly tightened his hug. "And I'm fine. Nothing to worry about."

"I'm just scared Matt... For two reasons..." Lexi sighed, hugging him back but pulling away to stab her pancakes again.

Matthew's face stood worried.
"Why are you scared?" he asked softly.

Diego looked at Matthew and Lexi. He sighed and stabbed his pancake before he ate it.

Lexi looked up, her gaze flickering from Matthew to Diego

Matthew raised his eyebrow.
"I don't get you."

Diego was to busy with his pancake to notice Lexi was looking at him.

"I'm scared that your dad will find you guys... And also that I'd lose you before that..." Lexi sighed, staring back down at her pancake

"My dad won't find us." Matthew said calming. "And you ain't losing me."

"Matthew... You don't know me like you think you do.." Lexi sighed

Diego sighed standing up.
"I leave you two alone." he said before he walked to the livingroom.

Matthew sighed as he sat down again.
"But you also don't know me like you think you do." he said, looking down.
"Are you doubting about 'us' ?" he asked suddenly.

Lexi could almost hear the crack in her heart as he spoke. She looked up at him, her eyes filling with tears. "This is exactly what I mean... Matthew, I'm sensitive and people call me over dramatic... I... I need a moment..." she sighed, pushing her chair out and running into the bathroom.
