"That's true." Diego admitted. He sighed as Matthew came back with a pancake for him.
"Thanks bro." he said.

Matthew chuckled as he sat down. Pancakes somehow always cheered Diego up.

Lexi ripped a piece of her pancake off and bit into it. It was fluffy and delicious. Better than her own pancakes.
