Matthew heard a loud noise from upstairs and turned off the gas. He walked into the living room. "Where's Lexi?" he asked Diego.

Diego pointed at the stairs and Matthew knew enough. He walked up the stairs and knocked carefully on Lexi's door.

[CatchingClouds]

"What Matthew?" Lexi asked, her voice desprately and begging to be alone.

[Komaniac]

"I-uh-" Matthew stuttered.
"Dinner is almost ready." he said.

Lexi ran a hand through her hair and sighed as she opened the door. She slammed it shut and walked right past Matthew.

[Komaniac]

Matthew sighed as he followed Lexi downstairs. "Diego! Dinner!" he shouted.

Diego sighed standing up and followed Matthew to the kitchen. He sat down at the kitchentable.
Matthew ruffled the hair of his brother as he gave him a plate with a pancake.
"Enjoy dinner, brother." he smiled before he handed Lexi a plate with another pancake.

Lexi carefully took the plate and sat at the table, one seat between her and Diego for Matthew.

Matthew also took a plate with an pancake and sat between Diego and Lexi as he quietly began to eat the pancake. He looked at Lexi and Diego, and noticed they both seemed to be irritated.

Diego sighed as he ate his pancake. Maybe Lexi was right, and he shouldn't be mad at his brother. After all, if he was the oldest, he would probably have done the same for Matt.

Lexi was staring at her pancake as she stabbed it with a fork repeatedly. She sighed and set her fork down, closing her eyes as she leaned against the table.

[Komaniac]

After a while, Diego finished his pancake.
Matthew saw it and stood up. "Want another one?" he asked.
Diego nodded and as Matthew left to get another pancake, Diego looked at Lexi.
"I didn't mean to upset you." he said softly.

"I know you weren't trying to... I guess I'm just scared..." Lexi admitted, opening her eyes to look at Diego.
