Lexi stared at her phone, waiting for an answer. She read his text and looked at Matthew. -Uhm... Yeah I'm free today...- she replied, leaning back in her bed and putting her phone on her stomach.

Josh felt puzzled, she seemed to be hesitant. Did she not like him any more? "Okay, wanna meet up at my house or something?" he texted back uncertainly.

-Sure... Just, uhm, give me a minute to get over there.- Lexi replied slowly. "Ok Matthew. I want you to rest. I'm going to get ice and some other stuff for your bruises," she said softly to Matthew before running downstairs and out the door.

Bella: I cried as the nurse spoke,"You may die any day this week. It is most likely. The car incident caused part of your ribs to crack and a serious injury to the lungs and heart. You will have surgery tomorrow. We will pray for you." She walked off and I looked at James.
