Lacey walked through all the carriages, looking for Riley or Rory. She came across Rory first. She poked his face. 'Wake up I need to talk to you!'

Rory growled in his sleep and swatted her hand away, before realizing she wasn't a dream. He glared at her in the darkness and asked in a very calm, very restrained voice, "What do you want?"

'We need you to join our Alliance and help us defy the Capitol 'nd all.' Lacey explained to him, crouching beside his bed.

Rory made a dismissive sound in the back of his throat. "How many do you have so far?"

'Possibly 5...' Lacey said.

"Out of 24? Against kids that want to fight AND the Capitol. Good luck with that," Rory scoffed and rolled over.

Lacey punched his back really hard. 'This is not negotiable!'

Rory growled, "The next time you touch me, I'm breaking your arm. Go talk to Riley, if you want someone in your pitiful alliance."
