A.J. smiled as Carter kissed him. He put his hand on her cheek and softly pulled away. AJ looked into her eyes and started to walk again. "I'm glad today's Friday," he said to start a conversation.

"Umm, a bit," she said with a shrug. She did, and most of her stuff turned out ok, but singing was more her thing. "I tend to be a bit better at singing though..." she said, not sure why she had told him.

"Believe it or not, yes I do," he said with a nod. He strummed his guitar once to make sure everything sounded right before starting. He tuned a few of the strings one more time, and then was ready to begin. He started off the song nicely, picking each string like they all had their own important parts. He had been practicing for many years, so it made playing it easy.

He continued to strum the notes onto his guitar, getting about halfway through the song now. He closed his eyes, simply focusing on where his fingers laid on the strings. He opened his eyes when Dillon began to sing. He smiled to himself, actually quite surprised. She wasn't bad. In fact, she was quite good.
