Skylar stared at the scars on TJ's wrist. She didn't know he cut, she didn't want to believe what she was seeing. Skylar looked up at her friend with sad brown eyes. "Why didn't you tell me about this?" she whispered, trying to look at his face. Letting go of his arm, Skylar held out her hand and pulled up her sleeve, revealing deep and recent scars.

Skylar let out a soft sigh. "You can tell me anything, T," she said with honesty. Skylar harshly pulled her hand away and covered the scars with her sleeve. "Yeah, well, depression happens and people need a way to physically let the pain out," she said with a shrug. "I tried to no cut, honest. I even played my guitar to make myself feel better, but it didn't work much..." Skylar sighed and turned her back to her friend.
